General here…
Hello?
Mr. McGuinty?
Mr. Miller?
Personally, I’ve had enough with your talk to ban hand guns and semi-automatic rifles…
Oh, I’m all for it - but, how about you do it already?
You’re two of the most powerful people in Canada’s most powerful province.
You have some of pull in this country, don’t you?
How about you get on the case and help pass some hard-core, zero-tolerance laws?
Say…
If you’re found in possession of a hand gun or semi-automatic weapon - just for having it: 1 year in jail.
If you fire that gun: 5 years in jail
If you fire that gun and hit someone: 10 years in jail
If you fire that gun and kill someone: Life
That works for me.
Parents are freaked, students are scared, cops are in schools, schools are in Lockdown…
What’s it going to take?
From the Mouths of 6-Year-Olds

General here…
My kids make me laugh. I love the way they see the world. Their little minds fascinate me.
Last night - while I was putting 6 year old Ava to bed - she asked me the first of what I’m sure will be many dreaded questions:
“What are babies made of?”
Fortunately, my strict training as a Wiseguy has provided me with some handy think-on-yer-feet skills:
“Uhhh…well…I know that little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice.”
Ava: “Then, what are little boys made of?”
Uh-oh. Can’t remember the rest of that rhyme:
“You know, I don’t know what boys are made of.”
Ava: “I always thought it was Play-doh.”
OK - so I’m a cheap laugh - and I was really tired.
But that’s funny.
