Hi de hoe neighbour :
It has been one crazy week at radio ranch.  I had a wild Wednesday.  It started in Burlington as I hosted the CIBC Run for the Cure barbeque and bake sale.  I heard from my friend  Helen Wylie that we all raised over $1600.00 for breast cancer research.
Then I was whisked away by Gord in the station van we call “The Pig Pen” to Niagara College.  I was greeted by my old friend Tom Otto who is one of the instructors.  He led me into the bowels of Niagara College into a huge classroom with about 20 kids ready for higher learning.  I’m not sure if they learned anything in those two hours.  They laughed at all the times I’ve been fired and how much trouble I’ve been into over my 36 years of radio.  We talked about being passionate about your work and your life. We talked about women in broadcasting and what makes you unique on the radio.  One very enterprising young man even asked about how much I made.  I told him flatly $68,000.00 plus anything I find on the floor.  If that class is the future of Canadian broadcasters…the future looks very bright.
I told this joke at the end of one show this week.  If you missed it here it is again.
Love ya, buh-bye

Pavarotti is standing at the Pearly Gates.

St Peter opens them and says ‘Oh it’s you Luciano, come on in, squeeze through’.
Pavarotti says ‘Hold on, I’ve got an envelope for you, from the Pope.’

St Peter opens it up and reads it.

‘HERE’S THAT TENOR I OWE YOU’
