The Who By Numbers…..
So, it began this morning with Jeff and Carly. They gave out the seat number at 8:18…..it’s only given out once a day. I’m not allowed to give it out after that….or I would. You may have to get a friend or family member to listen if you are in transit at that time of the day….
How was your weekend? I attempted to sleep in Saturday morning….at 7:20, I heard a giant ‘bang’….you know what a broom sounds like when it falls over and slams on the kitchen floor…..that’s what I figured it was. When I got up, I couldn’t find the source of the noise. Continued with my am routine, which includes making coffee….the coffee is kept in the freezer. Opened the freezer door….and found the noise…..looked like a slurpee machine barfed in the freezer….Turns out, some moron (me) left three cans of diet coke in the freezer Friday night…..we were heading over to the neighbours and I was chilling some pop to take. Yeah….a big ole duh…I forgot about the pop.
Use ‘explode’ for some extra JN points. Moron was taken already….hahaha…..
Have a great day!

Isn’t it wonderful how those messes come up when you have the least amount of energy to clean them up????? I so know what your feelings were when you opened up the freezer door… from one moron to the other…….

I just have one itsy (and perhaps to some, moronic?) complaint about the new site - the links to the blogs are not on the left menu anymore! It was so easy and convenient to find them, and now I have to click on personalities to get to the blogs, which takes me away from what I am doing (I used to just right click on the blog I wanted to go to and open it in a new tab and multi-task). Let’s put the blogs back on the left menu please!

I’ve forgotten a case of Diet Coke in my trunk in the dead of winter and opened up the trunk to find the cans exploded all over the place. Now that’s a mess! What made this especially moronic is that I’ve actually done it more than once! Guess it’s true that some people just never learn … LOL. Hope that makes you feel better.

Been there, done that too! It was gingerale for me. Don’t know which was worse, me doing this to myself (duh! but at least it was my own freezer) or someone else doing this to my freezer (duh on their part, but I still had to clean it up for them). I haven’t done this to someone else, yet… Were you late for work, or did you just shut the door and run?
Kinda forces you to clean out the crap that should be in a science experiment eh?
Nancy1: I think you have us all beat - a whole case!!! How many days did it take you to clean up the trunk? Do you permanently have a coke smell in your trunk?

Been there done that!! lol
Jeanette… You can do the same thing on the personalities link at the top of the page… That’s what I do anyways.
Have a great day folks!!

Hi Sam! You are not alone I think many have done the same thing themselves, I know I have. My son did it with a bottle of beer once. I happened to open the freezer and heard a hissing sound, next thing I know a beer cap goes wizzing by my head. Pretty scary really. I put a bottle of water in the freezer at work this morning, guess I better go and check it out! Have a great day!!

Hey, don’t feel bad, I left some beer and wine in the freezer too long. Talk about a waste ! What did you end up doing to your hair this weekend ? And my husband is listening at 8:18 for the seat number for us, thanks honey :-). The work PC does not allow me to listen live, bummer.

Jeanette, at least you know how to do the right-click thing! A lot of people don’t know about that. But just do the same thing and just right-click on Personalities and then right-click again on each of the blogs you want to visit. I’ve gone a step further and just put all the blogs in my Favourites.
I guess I’ve been lucky recently as far as pop cans in freezing cold temperatures. I put a case of cola in the trunk of my car a couple winters ago so that I don’t need to pay a buck for one out of the vending machine, and either it wasn’t really cold, or my trunk is better insulated, so no messes to clean up! Now I just try to remember to bring some extra cans to work for my afternoon beverage fix.

LOL SAM! I’ve done that before…what a bang on description “a slurpee machine barfed in the freezer”…too funny.
The other night, like 3 nights ago, I fell asleep on the couch and like you I heard a noise, not really a bang, but definitely something shifted. I JUST tonight found out it was books pile up beside my bookshelf, because it’s full, they fell over an into a box that was sitting below. Nice catch!

ps… OH GOD Nancy1, a girl I work with had the same thing happen. That was her duh moment, she said, I didn’t think that would happen. What an unholy mess that must have been. At least a freezer is easier to wipe down. Yoink!
