How’s the summer vacay plans going? I just returned from Calgary last weekend which was pretty cool. I’ll put some pics up when I get a chance to take them off the camera….so…..now, trying to plan a holiday for the first week of August. We’re heading to Halifax this time. Apparently, we should’ve booked a flight months ago….the prices are over 200$ more than they were last year at this time. No wonder people are choosing to stay at home for holidays. A friend in Calgary was telling me that the Calgary Stampede did not expect to set any attendance records this year simply because people aren’t traveling. I can’t imagine what it would cost to haul a big camper around now with the price of fuel….maybe just park the camper in the driveway…..use ‘camper’ as a bonus code.

Hi Sam,
One of my sisters lives in Calgary, I told her I would be winning Ozzy tickets so I could come and visit her, lol. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed! and my Toes! My husband and I went on a 3 week road trip last summer. We went thru New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia. It was a blast, we caught alot of baseball games, shows and other fun stuff, so glad we did that last year. This year we are heading to Ottawa and also catching some concerts in the states and T.O. Have a great time in Halifax & watch out for the jellyfish!
