I once though I was a “victim” of spying so I created some false documents and put them where only I supposedly was the only one with access. Sure enough, the BS I created ended up being spread around work. I disposed of the documents and now I change my password on the 15th of every month for just about every thing I do on line. This also includes my JACK FM code, just out of habit. It’s not a bad habit to get into.

If 1/3 of IT staff admitted to snooping, there must be more who aren’t admitting the truth. That scares me.

my wife recently thought i was acting wierd..but for differant reasons…anyways she snooped out my cell pohone and found a msg from someone she didnt recognize and my wife likes to knwo everything about anything..so she thought i was cheating on her becasue my friend used some interesting words…i swear on my life i wasn’t and havent and wont cheat on her…but that was a night of lots of tears and reasurences until she realized i was saying the truth

What, no details about the guy you “snooped” on? Did you find a picture of him wearing your bra and panties? LOL (I hate when that happens) All I can say is, “Don’t snoop unless you want to find something.” A friend of mine (true) told me (as I was in the same boat as you with a former gf) if you are at the point of snooping on her, it’s more than likely she is cheating.

If anyone thinks that IT staff , management, or even Service providers are not snooping in on your emails - then you are naive. I am sure IT and Service Providers are getting many chuckles, etc …I am fairly sure I saw a tv report that said Google, AOl. Yahoo - etc ..filter and randomly check over 1 million emails a day. If someone is not reading your email - then they could be listening to a frequency that picks up your cell phone conversation - Is anything truly Confidential these days as the world becomes increasingly wireless and web dependant ?

Hi Sam

The same thing happen to me regarding the women in the “Chat Rooms” “Cyber Girl Friends” Those LOVE emails that where sent back & forth. How “I didn’t understand him like she did.” ( Trust me, I knew him better than he knew himself, how does he think I found out?)

Well now he is out on his own with no girlfriend, was just let go from work due to down sizing & talking about coming back.

Thats when I told him I had rented out a couple of rooms to U of T students.

“Sorry bud, they have rented the place for 10 months”.

Your on your own…..go back to cyber world where they understand YOU.
