Father’s Day is next weekend and we have a super cool prize for your Dad…..the use of a Ferrari 360 Spyder for the weekend…..wow eh? I would loooove that. Many of us have dream cars that we’d love to take for a tear…..that leads me to the question, are you driving a car you love? What would you drive given no budget? Corvette? Lamborghini? MG? Mercedes? Cadillac? Smart car? hah….just trying to see if you were paying attention:)

My dream car has always been a 1965 mint-condition Mustang (preferrably in red), & unfortunately I don’t see myself owning one in the very near future! As far as summer drinks go, I agree with Louise re: the strawberry daiquiri, or a pina collada is always tasty as well.

im more a pina colada frozen strawb margarita type of gal. Oops just noticed that louise and nancy like them too. They taste better in St Maarten but good over here on the patio near the pool in the summer.

Hi Sam,love your show…my fav drink in the hot summer sun is ice ice cold BRAHMA… soooooooooooooo refreshing..if you haven`t tried one you should,but icey icey cold..have a good one

My dream car - guess there are two. One is a 1965-66 Mustang in either black or red, the other is a Jaguar (mid 60’s) in British Racing Green with cream leather interior.
Fave summer drink - can’t narrow it down to one. A strawberry daiquiri is lovely, I can’t drink pina coladas anymore because I am allergic to pineapple. A frosty Corona with lime, or a tall gin and tonic, or a Long Island Iced Tea or a Zombie, those would be nice. A non alcoholic option is lemonade or barely sweetened iced tea (green tea with some lemon or other fruit flavour added).

my hubbie and I are addicted to the bacardi frozen strawberry daiqiuris - add a shot of Limoncello to the rum!! …except we ran out of rum last weekend and started using long island iced tea mix (whatever booze is in it!) - EVEN BETTER! Give it a try!
The only problem and rate limiting step is - the ICE for the blender! I think we will have to break down and buy a bag as we have to make cubes the old fashioned way. Have started making cubes for the weekend already!
Lets hope the ol’ blender doesnt crap out…CHEERS!

Ma-ma-my Corona…We, my teammates et moi, tend to go for a post game bevvie after softball Sunday night, a nice draught (draft) beer is oh so good! Loaded sodas are good, but in small doses, the buzz + sugar rush = humdinger of a headache especially in the heat.
Is this the weekend l’il sis get’s married? Good luck, and stay cool!

Lamborghini Countach 5000 SS. This was absolutly beautiful. And of course the worst gas mileage ever. 4 miles to the gallon. If your gonna be a bear be a grizzly.

A Singapour Sling is very Refreshing, and has a great combo of booze to make it interesting. A nice cold Corona with a lime wedge helps cool down the summer heat as well and everything keeps very well in a cooler on the deck or patio if you manage to have one handy.

There are so many cars I have seen and loved, from the original 426 Hemi’s Daytona’s, Shelby Mustangs to SS Camaro’s and Corevettes to the more exotics like the Lamborgini’s, Enzo Ferarri’s, SLR’s and the rest, but I think I would be more incined to get something a little more modern day like the LOTUS Exige, affordable, very stylish and just an all around beautiful looking car. Definitely an attraction getter and at a very reasonable price as well. Motorcycles, maybe???………Lets say the 999/1000 Ducati and the Harley Sportster are in a neck and neck race for my heart. Noting like that V-TWIN VIBE or so I am Told.

My dream car would be a Porsche 911 Carrera Turbo. I’d love to win that Ferrari for a weekend though. How could you really drive it in Ontario though? If you go 50 km/h over the speed limit, they’ll take away your drivers license and impound your car for a week. Okay, the car ain’t mine so I wouldn’t worry too much about that, but then my insurance would probably skyrocket. I guess it would be fun to try it, plus there really ain’t too many cops as I would like on the highways.
I don’t drink that much, but I’d like to at least try some of those fancy alcoholic drinks like a mojito or daiquiri. I’ve tried a regular margarita before and it tasted pretty good. Same with a bloody mary/caesar. Maybe I’ll try a strawberry margarita. The next time I go to Las Vegas, I’m getting those yard of margarita containers that everyone seems to be carrying in the afternoon/evenings.
