This past weekend the Jack Nation Countdown was pre-empted…..with good reason. It usually runs at 4pm on Saturdays. City TV was running a telethon to raise money for the survivors of the catastrophic cyclone that hit Myanmar last week. Their government says teh official death toll is somewhere around 33 000 people. The UN believes 100 000 is more likely the actual number. Between that and the giant quake in China and the thousands dead there, rising gas prices don’t seem nearly as important, do they?
The bonus code from the tv show was ‘ORIOLES’, like the ball team…we have a chance for you to win Jay’s tix for the Jays vs Baltimore game…..that code is also worth 1000 points. Good luck and make sure to enter it before Friday night at midnight:)

Yes it is a beautiful day that was made even brighter by the T.V. bonus code! I thought that the show may have snuck back to the 1:00 p/m slot. I’m Sooooo Happy you came through for all of us countdown fans.

P.S. I really think it would be a great idea to simulcast the JACK NATION t.v. countdown without any broadcast delay,so I can broadcast it on every radio in the house as I do with the radio countdown.
