At my house, the Easter Bunny used to hide toast. I don't think the Easter Bunny liked poor kids.

My fav memory is lining up to get your name written in white icing on a hollow chocolate easter egg the size of an ostrich's egg. It was just cheap chocolate and tasteless icing, but who cared? It had MY name on it! And that meant I didn't have to share it with my brother or sister (which was probably the best thing...). Also, Laura Secord made peanut butter eggs the same size as the creme ones, which I liked better than the creme ones, but since you can't get them anymore, Reese's peanut butter eggs are a good replacement. Man, am I dating myself or what? BTW, I'm with all those who think the Cadbury mini-eggs are the best - better than Eggies!

When we were kids, we had to hunt for the little eggs that the Easter Bunny left in the living & dining rooms, & then we always had a solid chocolate bunny at the very end (love any kind of chocolate!). Now that I have 2 girls of my own, that same tradition has been carried on. And I also buy myself an Easter Creme Egg, as they're sooo yummy (love the clucking bunny too)!

When I was young my Mom used to hide all the normal Easter things but we always got a "Laura Secord" easter egg with the yellow and white trim inside the chocolate shell!! NOW, I couldn't even eat 2 bites as they are so rich!!! I have to admit, I loved the small eggs wrapped in foil because they were so shiny!!!
