Good Morning!
Here’s hoping that you’re enjoying your weekend. Still a full day left as I write this. Isn’t it nice to finally ’see’ March. I’m so glad we’re out of February……counting the days til the Spring Equinox:)
Feb is the bonus code from the Jack Nation Countdown. That’s worth 1000 points in case you missed it this weekend. The bonus code for the tv countdown was livin. That is for a pair of Bon Jovi tickets…and yes, there’s no ‘g’ on the end of that code. Just like the song ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’.
Did you see the Leafs or the Habs game last night? We went up to Wegz. I say ‘up’ because from here, it’s up the 400. Pretty cool place. It was soooo packed. You can make reservations….I think we’ll do that next time. It’s crazy, when the Leafs score, they blow a giant horn that sounds exactly like the one at the ACC. The place was packed with Leaf fans….and a few Hab die hards too…and yes, both the Leafs and Habs won.
I’m looking for a secondary clothing sponsor for the tv show. I currently have Freda’s on board. She’s got a pretty swanky place at the corner of Bathurst and King. They dress Marilyn Dennis for Cityline and the like. I go in the day before the show, they suggest/choose something, I borrow it and return it the day after we tape. If you know of anyone who would be interested in this, can you have them email me? It’s odd, I don’t really know where to begin looking. I wound up with Freda’s because my sales manager shops there. So, if you know someone or a place that you think would be appropriate, I’d appreciate your suggestions.
Have a terrific day!
Sam

Morning Samantha,
Just wanted to say thanks for the memories. Every time you guys (and gals) play Saga, I’m reminded of my first years in Toronto (I was born in Montreal) and my high school days. When I joined our church choir, Jim played the accordion. I attended Downsview Secondary High School and he was in the choir. When he joined Saga, they played at the school - of course I was there. His Mom and I had become acquaintances. Till this very day (30 years later), I’ll never forget her telling me the next time we saw each other that “Had I known you were there, I would have brought you backstage to meet the band”.
Again thanks,
Louise
