Some have said "Home for a Rest" but for those of us who remember, (and a few do), the Ultimate drinking song is "Wasn't That a Party" . Not sure who sang it but we use to check off the things we did as the song progressed. Never quite made it to the Police car on the front lawn part but talked to many a cat under the kitchen table. We use to sing "three or four 24s" instead of six-packs. It was such fun.

gotta have "Home for a Rest" by Spirit of the West.. the ONLY way to dance to that song is completely hammered... that's the only way you can jump for the entire song and not realize how goofy you look :)
I also find that Rock Lobster by the B-52s is a good drinking song..not sure why. Oh yeah, and also, Wasn't That a Party by the Irish Rovers
