Monday, December 24th, 2007Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. It’s a little light today, simply because it’s the 24th of December and really f’n early as I type this:) I’m off and out of town for a few days….back on the 31st and in for Chalmers….whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukah or just time with the family, I hope you have a special few days…particularly if you are not looking forward to the holidays. It can be a sucky time of year if you have lost or are missing someone, so to you….I wish you comfort.
The Jack Nation Countdown is running throughout the holidays. It’s kind of a year in review show…I say ‘kind of’ because all the cool changes here at Jack didn’t really begin until this past September….so, musically it’s not totally representative of new rock for 2007…..there’s a lot there that you’ll recognize, but, some cool stuff too….a little extra Zeppelin, some Johnny Cash….it’s good. If you don’t have a chance to hear it, the bonus code is ‘2007′. It’s good until after the New Year.
As of January 7th our 9-2-5 pay songs will be worth $1000.00 each…nice eh? All you need to is be a Jack Nation Member to get entered. Nice and simple. All the deets will be on the front page of our website shortly….Tuesday January 8th is a ‘Ticket Blowout’ for Ozzy tickets, so, another reason to join….
