Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog.  It’s a little light today, simply because it’s the 24th of December and really f’n early as I type this:)  I’m off and out of town for a few days….back on the 31st and in for Chalmers….whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukah or just time with the family, I hope you have a special few days…particularly if you are not looking forward to the holidays.  It can be a sucky time of year if you have lost or are missing someone, so to you….I wish you comfort. 

 The Jack Nation Countdown is running throughout the holidays.  It’s kind of a year in review show…I say ‘kind of’ because all the cool changes here at Jack didn’t really begin until this past September….so, musically it’s not totally representative of new rock for 2007…..there’s a lot there that you’ll recognize, but, some cool stuff too….a little extra Zeppelin, some Johnny Cash….it’s good.  If you don’t have a chance to hear it, the bonus code is ‘2007′.  It’s good until after the New Year.

What a creepy website….not sure what made me think of it this morning…..I wonder how long it took these guys to record all of the moves you can suggest to the chicken……I wondered for a time if it was real….but, how, if there’s lots of people visiting the site…..creepy.  Imagine if that was your job….eeeek…..

One week today, those of us who celebrate Christmas will cleaning up the mess from Santa’s stop…..one week.  Wow.  It feels like Thursday or something to me….just a long week I suppose with Christmas parties, family obligations and all that….bring on the time off!! 

How’s the Christmas shopping going?  I still have a couple items to buy…..just about there.  Yesterday, in a flash of brilliance, I decided Sherway Gardens would be a great place to hit on a Monday afternoon…..thinking, ‘it won’t be busy’….so did the rest of Etobicoke apparently:)  After a couple hours of cruising the mall, a beer was in order…..shopping can be tiring…..back downtown to Fionn MacCool’s on the Esplanade.  What a nice, cozy pub….

Here’s a couple pics from the Casey’s Rocktail party before the Bon Jovi Show one week ago.  The first one is me with Joanne and Carly….the second is me with my little sista….There are a bunch of others in the gallery section of this site.  My apologies for not updating this blog sooner than today.  Life has been a wee bit busy, and odd….Jeff Chalmers was ill Monday and Tuesday, which put me in for him…..he’s better thankfully.  His whole family had the flu….sounds like they could’ve done a commercial for the flu shot….

How great would it be to see the Led Zeppelin reunion show that’s happening tonight?  Over the next day or so we’ll see and hear lots about the band and HOPEFULLY confirm some tour rumours.

Sooo….what’s on for the weekend for you?  I’m a busy girl this weekend, out for a Holiday gathering tonight….was that pc enough for ya;)  Saturday brings family stuff….pre-wedding stuff for the sis….dresses and some of that stuff….there’s a tree decorating experience in my future too, I’m told.  We’ll bake a little shortbread and drink a little wine…..I also think there’s a hot tub in my future this weekend too;)

Sunday, Jack FM is on location.  I’ll be at The Hide House in Vaughn from Noon till 4.  It’s Highway 7 and Weston road, the NE corner.  We’re giving out 2500 Jack Nation bonus points if you stop by to visit.  We also have a 1000$ shopping spree for The Hide House….that’d help Santa a wee bit:)
