Did you vote yesterday?  I hope you did.  I’m convinced that the media really does sway the outcome of an election….all the advance projections and opinion polls are kind of dangerous.  I think many undecided people use the opinion polls as a gauge of how they should vote.  Yesterday’s election had the lowest voter turnout since 1927…..wow…..well, Dalton has your ass for another four years. 

Wow….already Thursday.  I could get used to this four day work week thing.  The Islanders are in town to play the Leafs tonight….hoping for a win….tomorrow night Van Halen is back at the ACC for a second show.  OH….Van Halen rumour…..private show forthcoming in Toronto.  That’s a pretty cool rumour eh? Well, as long as the private show is at my place….yeah, I know, dream it.

 Did you hear the ‘drunk dial’ on Jeff and Carly’s page?  Jeff is a big Leaf fan and was drunk dialing during a Leaf/Sens game to the boys in Ottawa at CHEZ 106.  CHEZ is one of our brother stations….it’s pretty funny.  btw, Happy Birthday to CHEZ 106.  They are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.

 Okay, 30’s good, but, how about 50?  CHFI is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year….now THAT is heritage.  CHFI is having an anniversary party tonight.  A friend and I are going to attend.  How about this for a scenario….getting drunk, starting a fight at the CHFI cocktail party.  OR….dressing up as Mike and Erin, getting drunk, then starting a fight.  Ah, I never would.  They really are as nice as you would imagine.  For some folks in this industry, it’s a giant act….not those two.

 Okay, tomorrow we have another Zep trip to give away…..check back tomorrow for a little help with that.
