New on DVD this week is…
Speed Racer with Emile Hirsch. The story begins with Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer.
Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy - all Pirate movies together in one large piratey collection
Coming up tomorrow, you can beat the box office and win tickets to AC/DC before they even go on sale. Enter to win through the Gold Mine. Emile Hirsch was in a movie last year that was based on my favorite book and true story of all time. Name the author who more than 10 years ago, researched this true story and then Sean Penn turned it into a movie after finally get family approval.

We are exactly 1 month away from the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Now being a washed up freestyle skier, I enjoy the winter olympics more, however I get into a few events the summer olympics has to offer. Events I’ll watch…badminton(no joke), canoe/kayaking, table tennis, a few gymnastic events, a few track events and that is about it. Sports that I think have no use as an olympic sport…handball.
Some dude thought it would be a good idea to grab a lawn chair, tie some balloons on it and see where he would end up. Or at least something like that. In a planned trip, he flew 235miles from Oregon to Idaho. How does he get down? Simple, he shoots balloons with a B.B. Gun. Smart? Oh ya!
And speaking of flying; on a side note…At an aiport about 2 months ago, they made some lady take out her nipple piercings with a set of pliers. That’s not even a joke, that’s just weird.

New Stuff Tuesday…BORING

Lots of paving going on today on hwy 99. It looks good though, I know it’s a hassle and adds more time on our morning commutes, but the road is really starting to look good. I can’t wait to see what it’s going to look like when it’s all said and done! There is also some paving and construction going on in Valleycliffe today.
It’s Tuesday, the day of new stuff, but nothing is really good. No good movies out on DVD, no good CD’s out either. What is happening??
This Saturday I’m going to be live on location at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park for a family celebration. Going to be live from 10am - 2pm so come down and enjoy all of the festivities. It’s FREE ADMISSION to the Park, the Royal Hudson will be fired up, there is live music featuring Bitter Creek Band, 80 locomotives & rail cars, kids zone with mini rail rides, games and much more.
