Millenium Falcon Reigns Supreme
Monday, September 22nd, 2008
By a vote of 197 to 190, Sea to Sky Tony Danza has beaten me and the Millenium Falcon is a better ship than Doc Brown’s Delorean. Congratulations to the crew. I’m going to go home now, crawl onto the couch with a tub of baskin robbins and cry as I watch Michael J. Fox portray one of the best characters ever, Marty McFly. Thanks to all who voted!

I guess the below is a photo of me and Doc Brown watching as the Millenium Falcon takes off and becomes the winner. Congrats

By the request of Tony Danza, watch below…
Falcon vs. Delorean

It’s the Millenium Falcon vs. Doc Brown’s Delorean. I say that the ability to jump through time is better than making a jump to hyper space!! BUT, what do you think?

Are you ready?
Friday, September 19th, 2008
So my puzzle in the post below wasn’t that hard. More than 200 of you correctly answered my skill testing head banger and in my mind, that is too many. Over the weekend I’m going to try and develop a better “Dan Brown” style puzzle and stump you. Hopefully I can come up with something good. In the meantime, I’ve posted some ski photos taken by Jon Rees last year of yours truly. To say the least, I’m getting excited about colder temperatures in the alpine and am patiently waiting to ride the new Peak to Peak. Enjoy and have a great weekend

Lunch Stealer
Wednesday, September 17th, 2008
Are you fed up with someone at work snooping through the fridGe and stealing your lunch? It happens heRe all the tIme. I recentLy found out Jon was the cuLprit of snatching my lunch and lEaving my sanDwich baggies on his desk. Not cool Jon!
Stealing your co-worker’s lunCh is a downright comtemptible act, tHat is, if it’s perpEtratEd by someone other than you. But, if you’ve ever had your lunch stolen, you know the frustration and anger it causes. You know the revenge and ill-will it inSpires. And you know that no matter how wEll you try to hide your lunch bag in the back of the refrigerator, something’s gonna be missing when you open it. Well, lament no more. The anti-theft lunch bag to the rescue…They are regular sandwich bags that have green splotches printed on both sides. After your sandwich is placed inside, no one will want to touch it.

If you want some bonus points this morning, you’ll have to try and guess my favorite type of sandwich. This one is going to be like a puzzle you’d read about in a Dan Brown novel. Good Luck
Life vs. TV
Tuesday, September 16th, 2008
Honestly, I love writing on the blog. It can sometimes take a little discipline to maintain it everyday, but I enjoy it. Most radio blogs are relatively the same and I’m not really in the mood to scribble down everything from my iCal or e-notes and fill you in on my daily routine, however I am at home right now pondering life and tv. Yes, a weird mix of 2 things I seem to enjoy. I haven’t always liked tv though. I mean I like tv just as much as the next guy, but it was never as big a part of my life as it is right now. This afternoon when I came back from work, the first thing I did was turn on the tv and see what I recorded last night. About a year ago, I got Shaw’s HD PVR and that changed my tv viewing life forever, or at least for the past year. My girlfriend and I tape lots and watch it the next day. In fact we’re watching things now that I never thought I would(90210), but it’s all because we can easily tape it and watch at our convenience. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Of course I’m a geek and have to tape shows like Engineering an Empire or documentaries about the ancient race on Palau which is a good thing right? Because I am learning something. I guess my point is that it’s so nice out right now, but all I thought to do was come home and see if John and Sarah Connor finally beat T-2000 or if Turtle and Drama got some action. That’s it, I’ve had it!!!!!!! I’m turning off the PVR and putting down the computer. I’m going outside to enjoy what some people are saying is the end of the summer weather. Before I go though, I have to set the PVR to record Jeopardy at 4:30pm…hey, I can’t miss Jeopardy, I’ll just save it for a rainy day. Peace out!
