We were live on location last Friday in Pemberton for Pemberton’s Expedition Station which is the newest in affordable living!  It was a lot of fun and thanks to everyone who came out. 

I’m gearing up for holidays.  Next week I’m taking off to Mexico with my better half and I couldn’t be more excited!!! Dianna will be getting up early with you ever morning next week so be sure to give her a call and say hello!  If you want some points, look for the bolded word in this blog and plug it in.

As I’ve posted in blogs before, I’m a fan of Rush.  I’ve never seen them in concert before so I guess you could say I’m more than excited for their show at GM Place tomorrow night.  They are also doing a great thing.  Rush is donating one dollar from every ticket sold for the show in Vancouver and are donating the money to the Disabled Skiers Association of British Columbia.  Already early ticket sales report that the donation is in excess of $10000.  The DSABC is an organization that provides learn-to-ski and snowboard programs for students of all ages and provides clinics for instructors.  Check out the video below which features the boys of Rush with Ed Robertson from Barenaked Ladies and Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys

This was quite crazy yesterday morning in the news.  I watch chases like this on a regular basison the Spike channel, but you don’t really expect it to happen in your area.  Thank god he didn’t decide to steal a truck and take it up the Sea to Sky hwy…

Now that American Idol is done, Canadian Idol will start in about 2 weeks!!!

She announced it earlier this week on Ellen, Janet Jackson is kicking off a brand new tour in Vancouver.  She’s hitting the road in September and it will be her first tour in 7 years.  It’s called The Rock Witchu Adventure and it promises to be a greatest hits tour…in fact Double J has even set up a phone number, 1-323-622-8139, where fans can dial in and get their favourite track added to the set list.   Give it a shot…

Between Shifts Theatre is back at it with their portrayal of our favorite Saturday Night Live sketches.  May 15 - 18 & 22-24.  Lots of local guest hosts and live local bands, it’s going to be a lot of fun.  Shows start at 8pm and are $12. oh and YES there will be COWBELL!!!
