I’m getting arrested on Friday all in the name of good charity. The annual Jail and Bail event is happening this Friday Septemeber 5th at Nesters in Squamish and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am apparently going to be arraigned before a volunteer judge on some sort of outlandish charge and will then be charged to a few hours in “jail” I have to spend an hour or two in the slammer to raise bail in the form of donations to the Cops for Cancer. Obviously I don’t want to be in jail for very long so please, please pretty please come down on Friday afternoon and donate!!
Over 9 days in September, 32 riders will take part in the Tour de Coast 2008, cycling over 800 km’s from Whistler to Maple Ridge and raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer. Julie Miller and Christy Mohr are happy to represent Squamish in this years ride.
