This is your chance to be involved with the 2010 Winter Olympics as a volunteer.  Obviously it takes so much effort from all sorts of different people to put on 4 weeks worth of World Class events and the commity wants you.  Think of the opportunities that you’ll get if you volunteer.  You’ll get to be right in the action and you can say that you were involved with an olympic event, its a once in a lifetime experience.
The Sea to Sky Volunteer Centre is having their Grand Opening this holiday Monday from noon to 4 pm.  There is going to be live entertainment from Squamish’s Jocelyn Band, Whistler’s Hairfarmers and Pemberton’s Gordo.
You can also bring the kids to take a shot on goal with Quatchi, curl with Miga and learn about Biathlon with Sumi as the Vancouver 2010 mascots showcase some of the 2010 Winter Games sports.  Volunteer will get you points if your a digger of gold.
