I will not be blogging tomorrow as it’s Canada Day so thought I would use today as a chance to say Happy Birthday to each and everyone of you.  A few new things take effect on July 1st and they may affect you.
Carbon Tax - this will definitely affect EVERYONE.  Whether you’re a driver or a walker, gas is going to go up 2.4 cents per Litre.  Now, as a walker, how is this going to impact your life?  Well in lots of ways as companies from coast to coast are talking about raising their prices.  Ground delivery and flight will cost more for your favourite products  so get ready.  Now with that being said, it’s not going to go crazy or anything, so no need to get too worried

Child Passenger - new regulations take effect on July 1st.  Infants must stay in rear-facing car seats until they are 1 year old.  Children that have outgrown their forward-facing car seat must stay in a booster seat until their 9th birthday or have reached a height of 4′9”.  All drivers are responsible for transporting all children in age and weight appropriate car seats and booster seats.
