First Glastonbury in England, then the famous Coachella in Cali, then Sasquatch in George, now PEMBERTON FESTIVAL!!  When I heard the news, I didn’t believe it, but it’s true!  The biggest names in music are coming to Sea to Sky Country including Coldplay, The Hip, Tom Petty, Sam Robers, Death Cab for Cutie, NIN, Jay-Z, Flaming Lips, Interpol, Metric and oh so many more!!!

3 different stages, 3 full days with something for everyone.  Camping, food, famers market, attractions for kids, a medical centre and much more.  Three-day passes go on sale March 28 at 10 a.m. and will cost $239.50. No single-day passes will be available. The festival will take place July 25, 26 and 27.

News of the festival was leaked yesterday by Billboard.com, a music industry website. The festival was supposed to be announced this morning by selected radio stations including Mountain FM.  Expected 40 000 people will be in Pemberton this July for the festival which is twice the amount that is at the Gorge for Sasquatch.  For extra points, use festival in the goldmine…Good all weekend! AMAZING!!!!

Starting on Monday we are beating the box office twice  a day.  Enter through the Gold Mine and listen in the morning and afternoon to hear your name announced!  This morning at 9am I’m giving away the very first pair of tickets to get your entries in ASAP.

For more information check out www.pembertonfestival.com which should be up and running this morning after 7:15am
