If you’re a regular listener, chances are that you’ve heard me rant and rave about my favorite book ever…Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. When I was in highschool we had to read Into Thin Air, which is a great novel about a personal account with the author climbing Mt. Everest. I fell in love with that book, but more so, the author. I saw this other book he wrote called Into the Wild and picked it up…couldn’t put it down after that.
I think part of me really related to Chris McCandless who was just happy with the simple things in life. 10 years later, his family finally allowed Sean Penn to film a movie about the real life actions that took place leading up to Chris’ ‘Alaskan Odyssey.’ If you haven’t read this book, I suggest you do yourself a favour and pick it up.
