Boston’s headed out on tour with their new lead singer. His name is Tommy DeCarlo and he just took a leave of absence from his job at Home Depot to do the tour. You read that right up until last week he was working at Home Depot. He was “found” after he sent in a demo of him singing karaoke to one of the band members.

Get this though…the guy has never been in a band…he’s only sung karaoke..that’s the extent of his vocal experience. The scary thing is…the guys pretty damn good!

According to Pollstar.com guitarist Andy McKee will be at Folk Fest August 14th. If you love great guitar work you won’t want to miss this one. He’s by far one of the most impressive guitarists I’ve ever seen. He should be classified as a guitar god based on the above video alone.

There’s a new trend in death that I love. Instead of everyone mourning a persons death they’re celebrating their life. What better way to lighten people up at your funeral than have a custom coffin showing off your one true love of your life.

For the above gentleman it’s his love of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer. This past weekend he celebrated the creation of his coffin by inviting over friends and family and filling the coffin with ice and…you guessed it….Pabst Blue Ribbon beer!

Another “great” environmental idea. This is the electric Uno. It does have two wheels only they’re side by side. Apparently the harder you lean on this thing the faster you go. Once fully charged the bike will run for about 2.5 hours.

Aside from the fact that its good for the environment an 18 year old Canadian kid is the guy who’s come up with the idea.

I just wish they would finally come up with an environmentally friendly ride that still looks cool. When you get on a motorcycle you want that bad ass look…not look like a nutjob who just left the circus on a suped up unicycle

Apparently Meat Loaf would like to have a chat with the CHEZ Nation. He’ll be calling the show in the next couple of days to talk about all things in music, life and his new documentary. (More than likely he’ll want to talk about the new documentary!)

Since I’m a firm believer that 2 heads are better than one I figure perhaps you could come up with some questions I haven’t thought of.

Supermodel Rachel Hunter is the latest celeb to splurge and buy a posh dog house for her pooch.

These houses can take up to a year to build as they’re made out of bricks,timber, plaster,stones and tiles!This thing has air conditioning, custom beds, running water and interior design!

Looks like we’ll have to re define the term “Being in the doghouse”

I’m disapointed though…you’d think that for price you’d at least have a plasma screen and a beer fridge tossed in!

NFL star and possibly the biggest mouth in the league Terrel Owens is in trouble again. This time for the above photo. It’s a promotional shot taken for the “Bang Bros” adult website. Apparently T.O. was “on hand” during their shooting of “Spring Break A$$”

Not suprisingly as with most star athletes who land themselves in trouble Terrel’s suing the company for putting him in the shot.

Here’s an idea…instead of having to sue a company over something dumb you’ve done…why not just not get yourself in those situations!

The latest trend in the coffee wars down in the US is to serve up somthing really hot and steamy. Like servers in lingerie! True…there’s a ton of these popping up all over the US with clever names like Sexxpresso, My Best Friend Espresso, and Bikini Barista!

While I usually have a strict policy on how much to pay for coffee (anything over $2 is asking too much) I would consider paying a little more for the quality service!
