More Cartoon Controversy

obama-ny-cp-5176045.jpg

The latest cartoon that has people up in arms comes from The New Yorker magazine. As you can see (above) it depicts Obama as a Muslim and his wife as a terrorist.

The magazine says that the picture is meant to satirize rumours about Obama including ones that he’s Muslim and anti - American

Both Obama and McCain have objected to the picture…what do you think? too far? is there a line media should draw in order to get ratings?

One Response to “More Cartoon Controversy”

  1. Philip Ontackos Says:

I can only hope & pray that Mr Obama ends up as The next President of the United States of America.
He is,by far the only hope that the U.S. has to getting back on track & rebuilding a Strong & Powerful nation.
The only good thing that has come out of the Bush Administration,is the Mighty Canadian Dollar.

    The Cartoon:,,NO !
There is far too many reasons to list,
I don’t care if it corrects thr ignorance of the nation,i just don’t agree with the magazines power to be able to put this out.
That’s the definition of crossing the line,,esp, it depicting the Terrorist “Fist pump”
,The Attire , The Gun Strapped on Mrs Obama, The Picture of You know who,on the Wall,
& Whats burning in the Fire Place.,
& The only thing in this Cartoon I do Accept is the fact it looks like they are vstanding in the oval Office.
The Cartoon still looks good compared to (”BUSH”) !
,It Just depicts too much behind the sceen Controversy,,,,Oh & don’t forget Fries Supreme,,,mmmmmmmmmm fries supreme.
