Beating the Winter Blues
With all of the snow we’ve gotten in the last week or so it’s only natural to feel the winter blues. When you get 50cm over one weekend it’s tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Any time I get the winter blues I beat them by doing the most Summer time activity I can think of…drinking and BBQ ing. My neighbors and girlfriend all think I’m nuts. After spending 3 hours shoveling out my walkway and driveway they couldn’t understand why I’d take another hour to shovel out the back yard to BBQ!. The key to winter BBQ ing is having the proper “equipment” (Notice the bottle of wine) Feel free to share your stories on how you beat the winter blues.

My Son and is budy Phil where pretty happy to snowboard of the roof and do some tricks.i had the tunes cranked up for them and they had a ball for a couple of hrs.i’ve send you some cool shots,since i was the photograph.Now everyone i know beleive i could drive my snowmobile on the roof!,but wont.LET THE KIDS HAVE FUN.TTYL ROBIN.

No offence Guy , but if that’s the best shovel you can afford you need a raise . I’ll back you up .

ha ha! Ok first Crow…i had to save room for the rest of the food (baked potatoe and corn) and secondly JC ..why’s everyone dogging on my shovel? You know you’re the 5th person that’s seen the picture today to comment on it…even a plow operator asked me if I stole the thing from a kid building a fort! It’s a telescoping shovel that fits anywhere and gets the job done…but I will agree it’s not the most manly shovel! Either way i like it as is seems with all of the storms I now travel everywhere with the damn thing!

Hi Robin,
I BBQ year-round, the BBQ/deck usually gets shovelled first. Can ya talk to the higher-ups @ Chez about putting that jacket [well not yours, it’ll be all smelly from shovelling/sweating] in the online store? I need a new dog-walking jacket and I see it has reflector stripes. Thanx. LOL

More wine chillin behind your back I hope! Not sure if you have my brand or not but I would be willing to join you & your gal pal for some winter blues bustin. Throw on another steak please…. & some mushrooms..ceasar salad would be awsome too!

HEY MAN I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!!! I WEAR SUMMER COLORS!!! ORANGE, YELLOW, PINK - get out the summer purses, tops. And we’ve started BBQing too Robin!! We’ve had the Steak, Pork chops.
And the biggest thing of all, I’ve started sneaking and doing my summer shopping!!!! shhhhhhh…..
