This is something they’re currently working on at Phillips. Imagine a huge tattoo that you can have disappear when you want it to and re appear when you wanted to look bad ass! No word on how much this would cost!

For those of you wondering WTF these are supposed to be the first on the left is “Thunderbird” the second is a “Sasquatch” and the far right is a “Seabird”
Looks to me like a flying squirrel, a bear and a skunk!

Bon gets 4 Beers out of 5!
Sunday, November 18th, 2007One of the great things about having a lady in your life is that you get to experience things you probably wouldn’t if you were single being a “guys guy”. One of those experiences happened last night…it was Bon Jovi…
I’ve decided on a new rating system to review the shows I’ve seen. It’s on a 1 to 5 beer scale. Now before you think “Wow…Robin must’ve really like Bon Jovi” you have to consider my rating works in reverse. 1 beer means you could go to the show sober and enjoy every minute of it (which is good). However a 5 beer show means that to enjoy it you’ll probably want to be soo loaded you might not remember your own name.
In fairness to Bon Jovi if it had’ve been just them playing I may have rated the show better. However they had an opening band called Hedley. This is the only concert in the past 2 years I haven’t been doing the concert before…which I thought was good.. until I realized that had I been doing the concert before I would’ve also known Hedley was opening for the boys. By the time they were finished their set I had downed 3 of the 11 dollar beers. It appeared what I had saved in getting free tickets was slowly going to pay for my refreshments for the evening.
The Bon Jovi show was better than I expected. I’m not a huge fan of his music but I do have an appreciation of the musicianship and showmanship that was put on. Jon’s voice was as bang on as it sounded on the records and Sambora’s guitar was also on par with the vocals.
What really stunned me was the crowd. This is going to sound nuts but I’ve never seen a crowd like that in Ottawa. They were unafraid to express themselves through their dancing and at points the crowd was singing over the vocals. The main difference in last nights show was that the audience was primarily female. To which I have to say well done ladies. When guys go to a show they usually nod their head in approval and perhaps tap their toe ( I’m included in this catagory) last night was not the case at all. The only crowd I’ve seen that appeared that “into” the show was at Ozzfest in 99. Ladies in Ottawa definatly know how to rock.
With all this in mind here’s how I would rate the show in it’s parts..crowd=1 beer …Bon Jovi= 0 beer if you were a lady 2 if you were a guy (you’d still need 2 beers to get past the part of the concert where Jon shakes his arse and the ladies scream) ….overall the show was 4 beers…yes I hated Hedley that bad!
It’s 5 o clock somewhere ….time to go pop another top watch some football…and get ready to come back from holidays in less than 24 hours. Talk to you tomorrow!

Sunday, November 11th, 2007Christmas Dogs
Friday, November 9th, 2007I had some time to kill before the Sens game last night so I ended up at a pet store in the Centrum. I decided while I was there that since my house was already decorated for Christmas (something I had no hand in) I would put my own touch on the last thing to be decorated in the place for the holidays. Ladies and gentlemen I give you …”Robin’s Christmas Dogs”. I know you’re thinking “he always says people who dress up there dogs are weird” and I still stand by that….there is a difference…this is decorating for the holidays!
With that in mind and clearly a few beers in my gut I’d like to be the first to wish you and yours a merry Christmas and Happy New Year! ……….what? To early? pass the eggnog!

Indy Cheats?
Tuesday, November 6th, 2007
More accusations of cheating in the NFL. Some fans are claiming that the Colts use “added crowd noise” to distract and make it hard on the opposing teams who visit Indy. The fans claim that the above video is evidence that this is happening. The NFl says that the skipping you hear was from the broadcast and not the stadium. Also CBS has taken responsibility for the sound quality but that still hasn’t satisfied some. You judge for yourself!
