The Brangie Bunch???

pregnant-angelina.jpg

we’re not quite sure if the brood is a bunch yet..

Rumours were swirling all over the internet this past Friday…

Entertainment Tonight was reporting Angelina has given birth to twin girls in France!

But other sources, including her rep, were saying it wasn’t true, Angelina’s still preggers.

Reportedly named Isla Marcheline (after Angelina’s late mom) and Amelie Jane (in honour of Brad’s mother)… if the story’s NOT true, where on earth did ET get those names from???

Could be, Angelina’s playing games with the press til she gets her $15M for charity for pics of the twins.

But regardless of whether she popped or not, here’s a bit of an interesting backgrounder - thanks to Scientology, Katie Holmes had to give birth to Suri in absolute silence (who can do that???) But when Angelina was giving birth to Shiloh 2 years ago by C-section, she giggled the whole way through!

“They were trying to put the IV in me and I began laughing so hard, with tears rolling down my face. I was out of my mind.” she grinned.

It MAY have been due to the morphine injection the hospital staff gave her!

The American government and a number of private companies are offering employees the chance to work four 10-hour work days per week as opposed to the regular 5-day work week — all to combat greenhouse gas emissions and the HIGH PRICE OF GAS!!!

What do you think about that!!!

What’s your company doing to help you make ends meet, and to help the environment?

It’s a done deal for Madonna and David!!!

A judge has finally approved Madonna’s adoption of a Malawian boy she met in an orphanage in 2006.

The pop star wasn’t in court for the ruling.

Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie, have been caring for the child, David Banda, in London. David turns 3 in November.

David’s mother died when he was a month old. His father has said he believed he couldn’t care for him alone, and that placing him in an orphanage was the best way to ensure David’s survival.

The adoption has been very controversial, with critics accusing the government of skirting laws that ban non-residents from adopting children in Malawi, which has been badly hit by an AIDS epidemic that has left more than 1 million orphans.

Just a spoonful of peace

Modern-day Earth mama Maggie Gyllenhaal spread a message of peace, love and ice cream at a bed-in at Ben and Jerry’s in Times Square. The “Stranger Than Fiction” actress hosted the event, which paid homage to John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s week-long bed-in for peace in 1969 and celebrated the launch of a new B&J flavour — a Lennon tribute called Imagine Whirled Peace.

Though they didn’t spend a week in bed, Gyllehaal, B&J co-founder Jerry Greenfield and other activists spent the rest of the day cruising around the city in a bed enclosed in a glass vehicle.

Each pint of Imagine Whirled Peace has the official seal of approval from Yoko Ono and the John Lennon Estate, and bears a cartoon self-portrait of Lennon and a facsimile of his autograph. The label says, “We hope this whirly mixture of toffee cookies and fudge peace signs enlightens your bellies and souls and makes you ask what you can do to promote peace in your lives.”

Montgomery vs. Madonna

Monday, May 26th, 2008

One of my all-time favourite videos on Youtube... BUT

Doesn't part of the jingle sound an awful lot like part of Madonna's new song, "Give It 2 Me"?

For the record, the "Montgomery" ad came out first...

WARNING: this jingle WILL get stuck in your head!

As mentioned in today's Ottawa Sun, this husband and wife from Kelowna, B.C. are quickly becoming internet sensations with nearly 800,000 hits on Youtube -- and all because their home-based production company's videos are SOOO BAD!! Scary thing is, they've since been commissioned by the BBC to produce a clip for the talk show "Lily Allen and Friends"...

and you thought BBC meant quality!
