Beautiful Big Brown Dog on the loose!

A beautiful big brown dog was spotted earlier today crossing 4 lanes of traffic at Riverside and Revelstoke in the Mooney’s Bay area…

This could be the same dog that was seen in the St. Laurent and Donald area over the weekend.

If so, this poor pup’s been on the loose for quite a while!

If you spot this dog in your travels, call 311 for the city to send out a catcher.

Once, caught, the dog will be taken to the Humane Society where it can be checked for a microchip and possible ownership.

There seem to be a lot of dogs running wild of late. I think they are jumping the fences with the piled up snow. My own dog was barking like crazy the other night at the bay window , and when i went to see what was up there was 3 doggies going for a run up the street together?! Looked funny but…As well we had 2 dogs jump a fence to come greet us as we were on our walk last week, good thing they were friendly. So I guess people should keep their canine friends tied up in their yards as well until this snow is gone , just to be safe.

Good point, Tammy… Same sorta thing happened out west where a rancher lost his whole herd of bison.. They simply walked up a snowbank and over the fence — and they’re STILL on the loose!
