In case you missed it last night, here’s the speech in full…
Afterwards, talk show queen Oprah said of it, “I cried my eyelashes off… I think it’s the most powerful thing I have ever experienced” calling his words “transcendent” and adding that, “He’s not an African-American candidate. He’s a candidate for Americans.”
Have a listen…

Maybe Jen Aniston and John Mayer are pulling the ultimate prank.
Sure John blabbed all about his breakup with Jen, but what if it was all a clever hoax.
How else do you explain the ring Jen was sporting last night at Madeo in LA?

It could have been worse…
Mattel, the makers of Barbie, sued the makers of the Bratz dolls because their creator was working at Mattel when he came up with the concept for the Bratz brats.
Well, Mattel won the case and they wanted upwards of $2 billion!!!!
Thankfully for the Bratz business, a California jury only awarded Mattel $40 million on Tuesday…
Because - get this - the Bratz dolls bring in around $500 million annually!!!

DAD UPSET BECAUSE WII SAID HIS DAUGHTER IS FAT
Britain’s The Daily Mail tabloid printed a harsh criticism of the Wii game system and, specifically, the Wii Fit game. The reason is that an unnamed 10-year-old girl from South East England was told by the game, during its Body Mass Index test, that she was “fat.” (Wii Fit actually puts users into a variety of categories, the two heaviest of which are “overweight” and “obese.”) The stepfather of the girl said, “She is a perfectly healthy, 4-feet-9-inch-tall 10-year-old who swims, dances, and weighs only six stone (84 pounds). She is solidly built but not fat. She was devastated to be called fat and we had to work hard to convince her she isn’t.” The paper then enlisted the opinion of a spokesperson for the National Obesity Forum, who called for a ban on kids playing the game. She said, “I am absolutely aghast that children are being told they are fat. A child’s BMI can change every month and it is perfectly possible for a child to be stocky, yet still very fit. I would be very concerned if children were using this game and I believe it should carry a warning for parents.”

Practising in that pool ain’t gonna win him any more medals!!

Michael Phelps has plunked down $1.69 million for a condo on the waterfront in Baltimore, Md.
His new pad is 4,080 sq. ft. The complex has a rooftop terrace, a private screening room, a state of the art gym, a clubhouse with pool tables.
If you’re wondering where the money came from, Phelps was projected to earn between three and five mil this year even before the gold.

“LeRoi gave up his ghost today…”
With his voice trembling with emotion, Dave Matthews broke the heartbreaking news to a packed Staples Center crowd in LA last night — that his close friend and sax player, LeRoi Moore, had died.
Just hours after he learned about Moore’s passing, Dave told the fans, “it’s always easier to leave than be left.”
Moore died Tuesday from complications stemming from an ATV accident in June, in which he punctured a lung and broke several ribs.
