I’m pretty tired after the first-day-back from the weekend, so I’m hanging out online with the TV on in the background. Why am I telling you this? Because the show ‘Age of Love; 20 versus 40′ is on…and I’m too tired to find the remote. Have you seen this one? A guy is dating a bunch of women (sorry guys, I am pretty sure this only happens on reality TV) and half are in their twenties, the other half in their forties. Um, great idea…I guess this is why I don’t watch TV in the summer…
I’ve been thinking about something we talked about this morning: brand loyalty - like the stuff you by regularly and wouldn’t compromise for a different label. Shawn is pretty predictable with his purchases - Frank’s Hot Sauce, Tropicana Orange Juice, and Sunlight Dish soap always make his grocery list. I can’t think of much that I buy regularly like him. Maybe magazines - I spend way to much money on those. What are you always buying? Are you a Coke or a Pepsi person?
I know a lot of people are loyal to a certain beverage…beer. Does the person at the counter know your order before you get through the door? I’m sure you’re not alone. We’re going to be talking about Canada’s favourite drink later this week. A rep from Lakeport is joining us live in the morning for a pre-long weekend chat. It may, unfortunately, be a little early to crack open a few. Or is there such a thing as ‘too early?’
OK, I’ve got to get up and find the remote, this is pretty much all I can take right now.
