54-40
54-40 formed in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1981. The group takes their name from James K. Polk’s presidential campaign slogan “Fifty-Four Forty or Fight,” which sought to expand the U.S. border northward. By the time of the band’s self-titled album in 1986, their folk/roots approach had earned them favorable comparisons to R.E.M. Subsequent albums found the band moving into harder-edged territory. What band had tremendous success with their cover of the 54-40 song “I Go Blind”?
A) Hootie and The Blowfish
B) The Wallflowers
C) Tom Petty

An easy one. OK, I know you’ll “moderate this response” and so won’t print it, because just out of curiousity, I’m forecasting that “Sue” and Liane” will respond with the EXACT same answer at the EXACT same time as each other, as they seem to do every time you post a new trivia question. Now, I’m guessing this means these two people are spending entirely too much time with each other, or we’re dealing with a schizophrenic personality or this is one very sane, yet not altogether smart, person, rather publicly doubling up on points?? Just wondering… and LMAO.
