Nazareth
Monday, January 7th, 2008Nazareth formed in Dunfermline, Scotland in 1968. The band had moved to London, England by 1970 and released their self-titled debut album in 1971. The group’s 1973 album “Razamanaz” featured the hit singles “Broken Down Angel” and “Bad Bad Boy” and moved the band into the UK top ten for the first time. But it was the 1974 album “Hair of the Dog” that sold over a million copies and featured a revamped version of The Everly Brothers’ song “Love Hurts” that became their biggest international hit.
