Sleeping Alone
Friday, August 17th, 2007It has been quite the week news wise with horrible tragedies out of Peru with hundreds dead, and the deaths of rescuers trying to get to six miners trapped in Utah.
We also had all that chaos on the markets.
It can be tough on days like these to just shut it off at the end of the shift.
The story stays with you.
I thought I’d end the week blog wise with a much lighter topic. This came across my desk and got a lot of laughter and discussion here in the newsroom.
Somehow I missed this idea during the renovation and addition to our home recently!
The U-S National Association of Homebuilders predicts by the year 2015 there will be quite the demand for TWO master bedrooms in upscale homes.
It turns out we all just want a good night’s sleep even if it means spending the night apart from our significant other.
The National Sleep Foundation says 75-percent of adults have sleep problems like snoring or just not sleeping at all. Some here in newsroom questioned the lack of romance.. but others who get up at 3am thought it might be a good thing on some weekdays!
