		<description>I agree with Lisa and with both of the above comments although being held for 2 years without trial while her boss was already convicted seems a little unusual. There seem to be more details of the case missing.</description>

		<description>I totally agree that the Brenda Martin case has become ridiculous. So much time, effort and resources spent on this woman. She was found guilty in Mexico, yet we insist on invoking our values insofar as the correct punishment level. She is Canadian, but chooses to live in Mexico. No problem, but you live by their laws. It incensces me when Canadian Nationals run afoul of the law outside of their countries in another they have chosen to live in, and then expect their "home" government to spend thousands and thousands to bail them out.
Is she guilty or innocent? I don't know, but I do know we as a country shouldn't be expending so much on a woman living in Mexico convicted of Fraud.</description>
