A flurry of activity!
When I see a snow flurry lately, I feel like a woman I once saw in a commercial for - Canadian Tire I think? - who screamed at the top of her lungs when a leaf fell from a tree! The approach of fall was too much for her to take!
And I’m not even having to shovel this year, living as I do in a condo, feeling like a princess with a staff of serfs and shovellers to do my dirty work.
But I can just picture the overworked homeowner, staring blankly out the front window at the sight of more flurries falling on our city.
Yes it’s winter, yes it’s Canada, yes it’s Toronto but it’s a little more snowy than most of us would like. Unless, of course, snow removal is your business. Then you’re having a good season!
Brian Hill is calling for more accumulation around the middle of next week. I wish you patience and a strong back. Lift with the legs!

Speaking of snow flurries…I KNOW Brian Hill does his utmost best to track the storms but I am thinking that it would be a good idea to throw in more phrases, more often, like: we are EXPECTING 10 cm, or we could possibly get 10 cm, or we will keep you posted on accumulation…
There was supposed to be a big snow fall on Family Day which never happened and I know many people who changed their plans to drive out of the city that day based on that prediction. Then, what bothered me most, was there was not any mention at all about the 15 cm not showing up! Not that I heard anyway.
I changed my plans for this morning - did my travelling yesterday - because there was supposed to be snow this morning. Like I said, I know it is difficult but we do all listen, and count on Brian. He just needs to throw in more qualifiers!
Congrats on the weather guarantee though! That is awesome.
This probably is not the most appropriate place to make this suggestion but I do not see anywhere else to make a comment.
