So Jessica Simpson recently told People that she told her boyfriend, Tony Romo (who is Carrie Underwood’s ex), that he is the love of her life. In the interview Jessica also said she wasn’t worried about Carrie’s claims of getting calls from Tony — that they were just that — claims.

So what does Carrie have to say to all this? “She finds Jessica’s love of putting her life on display pretty desperate,” a “friend” of Carrie’s told OK!. “She laughed at the People cover, because it’s the same one Jessica did about John Mayer — same smile, same look, except she’s a little fatter.” LOL! And NOW the claws come out!

So this morning on the ride to work, I had to put the heater on….Ohhhhhh man. Winters on the way, are you ready?

There are many great things that come with winter in McMurray. Hockey, Vista Ridge and the great trail system.

There are a few things to do before that first blast.

1-     Pull out all the snow gear and have it ready to go

2-     Winter Oil Change

3-     Check the block heater

4-     Winter Tires

5-     Do last years boots still fit

One thing that gets me every year is forgetting the snow brush for the car. It happens every year, I mean to get that scrapper ready but then the first bit of frost on the windshield and I gotta use the debit card as the scrapper because I forgot what I had to do!

Ahhh the DEBIT card great for scraping and putting me in the poor house. At least when I scrap with it…..I never get “Insufficient funds”  Bad I know

So the topic of lunch came up on the show this morning. Do you think it’s sad that kids can no longer bring PBJ for lunch anymore?

PBJ was it that was the staple lunch. I understand the safety of our kids is so much more important.

It’s just sad that kids will miss out on what we all had growing up.

So in grade school it was PBJ, High School it was anything from the café and in Collage it’s….Kraft Dinner!!!

PBJ and Kraft Dinner will never be bad. I have been at fancy restaurants and looked at the menu and thought “Oh man would a big bowl of KD sure come in handy right now.

As a matter of fact if I ever own an upscale restaurant I will have KD on the menu and I will charge 75 bucks a plate!!! Just kidding

So tonight for dinner Kraft Dinner and Hotdogs!!! The best meal of all time!!

So the 2008 NFL season starts Thursday, Are you ready to lose your husband/boyfriend for the next 16 Sundays?

So the calendar tells us that summer is over on September 22^nd. I think that summer is over on September 2^nd.

For a few reasons

1-The MOB are back on the ice

2-School is back in, and kids should not be in school in the summer

3-The Wishbook is out

4-Stores are starting with Halloween stuff and Christmas stuff

5-It’s getting cold

So on that note, what a summer we had in the Fort. Great weather, Great festivals and Great concerts, Great fun!!!

As the kids head back to the classroom. I would like to stress our appreciation for both of our school systems in this city. Megan and I will strive to keep you the parent, the listener and our friend in the know. If it’s a fun day, fundraising day or any event drop us an email and we will try our best to get the word out.

On another note Tuesday we start the show at 5am instead of our 5:30 start. So if I am late SO SORRY!!!!

So my son had a birthday over the weekend and one of his gifts was the video game “Rock Band” for his Wii. The game has a mic, guitar and drums. The object is to play the notes that are on the screen.

Yesterday Liam said to me “Come on dad. Lets start a band! We can call our band “The Dudes” I will be the drummer and you play guitar.”  I think, wow!  Cool! This is great!  My son wants to be in a band with me. I am the cool dad!!!!

Then we start to play….Well I cant play this game to save my life!  Liam on the other hand, was great! Ummm he is 7 and I am 30.

I laid in bed last night remembering the good old days. Remember the first Game boy with Tetris?

Ya!  Tetris a game we all can enjoy!  Three buttons up/down/side to side. Don’t you miss those days when we could all play video games?

No secret codes, no internet connections, Just 3 buttons!!!

So if you are a parent of kids with video games, smile and think of Tetris!
