Many Canadians used to laugh at the Americans since they are soooo stupid that they virtually bring up anything to the court, from a hot cup of coffee to a broken frame hook. That's the difference! That's why you may see the same/similar laws out there in the States and here in Canada, but the outcomes are different. There needs people to take it serious: if the employees or gamblers start suing the landlords/casino owners for the damage, the ban will soon extend to there.....:) It may take some hard hit to get the law enforced to certain degree.
