Human-powered flying machines hit the runway in Ottawa-Gatineau on August 3

Ready for takeoff?

Red Bull Flugtag 2008 is set to land over the Ottawa River on Sunday, August 3rd, 2008. In case you don’t already know, Flugtag is German for “flying day”, but more importantly, it stands for a bunch of creative geniuses strapping themselves to totally outrageous home-made, human-powered flying machines and launching off a 30-foot ramp into the wild blue yonder, or alternatively, straight into the Ottawa River. This is only the second time Red Bull Flugtag will descend on Canada having made its first stop in Vancouver in 2006.

Kreesha Turner is yet another amazing Canadian talent and soon the World will know!  Perez Hilton may not be a site for everyone, but what he does for the music industry is incredible.  If he likes an artist, chances are you will too.  I fully believe that Katy Perry is where she is today because of his early love for her music!

It seems that Avril has fallen quite a bit… Now the question is how bad will it get???

She’s opening for Daughtry!?!?!?!?!?  Isn’t she a way bigger star than the American Idol Alum???  Word is she’s also opening for the Jonas Brothers on their upcoming U.S. tour!

 Avril also wants to change her image… but not in the way you think!  She’s so unhappy with her Vampire like fangs that she’s going to have her teeth shaved down.  Looking at this photo makes me agree with her!

Sheryl Crow has written a new song in support of the 2008 Summer Olympic Athletes.  She says she has always loved sitting in front of the TV and watching the vignettes, the back stories about each athlete.  The song will appear during the Olympic TV broadcasts in a couple of weeks.  Here’s a little preview of the Video…

So Nicole Kidman is causing quite the stir because of her post-baby body.  She gave birth just 15 days ago and already looks like she’s lost all the baby weight!  Some are even wondering if she actually had the baby at all!!!  Judge for yourself, here’s a photo taken of Nicole earlier today… can you believe it??
