Gus may have been voted to the World’s Ugliest Dog 2008 title, but his family thinks he just beautiful!
Gus is missing one leg, one ear, one eye and has no hair. But what the pedigree Chinese crested dog doesn’t have in looks…he makes up for in loving personality.
Yeesh…that IS one ugly pooch! What do you think?

OMG my heart goes out for him! He’s not that ugly! Look at that tongue and those eyes… that is one loved dog! I bet you he has a lot of spunk!

Hmm…pretty ugly but from the pictutre he looks happy and loved. I guess that’s all that matters! Yay for Gus!

My son says there was another dog in Ripley’s Believe it or Not a couple years ago that was even uglier than this dog. It didn’t have any hair; its skin was orange; it had one green eye. Yikes! But thanks for sharing the ugliest of the ugly, Jeff!

The Chinese Crested dogs are a virtually hairless breed. Sometimes they’re cute, sometimes…not so much. So Gus was born bald…but the one eye, one ear, 3 legs thing just happened, I guess.
