  22. Ralph Says:

so it this blog going Batman or Townshend or perhaps another direction altogether. I don’t know which way to look.

  23. Karen Says:

Tammy - could you try to get a clue through?

  24. sandra Says:

like you ralph i dont know. i tried batman two-faces nothing will keep on looking.

  25. Tammy Says:

Well clowns are supposed to be comical so I’d go in that direction.

  26. Christine Says:

  27. Louie Says:

Tammy, let me guess… Jeff has your clue in moderation, eh? Or did you not want to provide us a clue? Bad girl! :P

  28. Karen Says:

Thanks Tammy! Ralph take the Batman route.

  29. Tiberius Says:

Karen; in reply, not that I’ve noticed, but I will check back as far as I can and see what I see.
You find a clone out there?
    Or maybe a clown!?
    nch

  30. Tammy Says:

Be persistent with the way you type in your answer. Think of the two word answer to Jeff’s question as “he’s _ _”. Use the clue with quotes in google, that’s how I solved it.
May be fictional person but is also a way some people can be.
Actually, check out my response to Ralph’s question.
Now, let’s see if this makes it through moderation in time for dinner!

  31. Tiberius Says:

    Jeff; you forgot to add a catagory to the morning poll;
Have no time to watch golf because we are trying to guess Jeff’s photo blog answer/don’t care.
I am the former, some others, the latter.
    nch

  32. Tiberius Says:

  33. sue Says:

How many letters in each word. Any apostrophe’s?

Could one of the words rhyme with poker?

Please give us another clue, Jeff.

I am glad it is only two words. Friday’s adjective, noun, noun combination really threw me for a loop!!!

  34. Lee Ann Says:

Ok, this bites…gotta go shortly, I’m at the Last Chance Saloon…I’m stumped!

Later gators, good for you Tammy for figuring it out. I think I’ll go home and break that creepy porcelain clown my b.f.f. gave me (hate the thing, have an old D.Q. jays cap covering it’s face). For sentimentality, I’ve hung on to the damn thing for years. NCH

    Over and out :(
    Lee Ann

  35. Karen Says:

If you don’t see anything on Friday’s blog then don’t look any further, that answers my question, Tiberius. Thanks

  36. sandra Says:

OMG i live in richmond hill and we just had that golf ball sized hail at 3:30 very scary flowers are all shot to hell. Nothing on the puzzle yet Jeff has one of my random thoughts in moderation so i think ill go that away. To the batmobile.

  37. Davey Says:

    i don’t know….

  38. Tiberius Says:

Sandra; we here in north west Brampton only got pencil eraser size hail around the same time, but What Fun!
    Not like the blog today.
Geeze, I was at the Ribfest around 4ish and missed this guy’s act, so I have NO clue, and the lineup for the ribs from 2 venders was LONG!
Great ribs, according to a pal who endured the lines!
Looked at batman/joker and townsend; only thing I see is not enuff makeup, or he’s not a good joker(too many words)
Dunno, may walk away and BBQ instead.
    nch

  39. Cathy Says:

I was thinking riddler not joker!

  40. Nan Says:

The hail hit the Scarborough Area near
Warden and Lawrence around 3-4 this afternoon! Was bouncing all
    over the place.
Fortunately for me I ran out
    and grabbed the tarps and
covered all my beautiful flowers and shrubs! They were so
expensive and I was not going to throw away ALL that money
    down the drain!

Hope none of your cars were damaged!

  41. Tiberius Says:

Hey, Karen, no sweat. I do look back.
My tag is a bit different from the rest, so hard to make like me, and I would notice, but yours is easy to dupe, so I can see some unscrupulous foul fiend using another’s good name for nefarious deeds.
(How the H did Adam West keep a straight face saying this stuff; fun as it is to do!?!?!)

  42. Janice Says:

any one have how many letters in each word???
    thanks
    k

  44. Ron Says:

Cesar Romero, one of the great ones. False Face was another Batman character. On an unrelated note, was that a Burton Cummings Canada Day sign outside the park in Brampton? If so see you there…

Answers? Not emptyglass or roughmix if Townshend is in the mix. Need to think more.

  45. Marvin Says:

sandra, got a little bit in Thornhill.
    a bit north of steeles.

    Tiberius are you the joker?

  46. Lori Says:

Lee Ann was that your last chance?
Congratuations Tammy. You are the only one to solve Jeff’s riddle.
    I am stumped.

What does Jeff’s clue mean face to face?

    I give up!

  47. April Says:

    THANK YOU JEFF,
I always love your Monday one’s as their are so much easier!!!

    Hey Tibs and Karen,

How’s it going? Can’t quite tell if you’ve got the answer or not, but didn;t have time to read all the clues yet either as there are TWO many!!!

    Dear Lee Ann,

How did your run/walk go this weekend? Hope you did well and aren’t hurting too much!!

    Your friend,
    April

  48. MyJudi Says:

Anyone notice the tarantula behind Marcel Marceau? Has his singing has attracted it, or was it the ribs?

  49. Cathy Says:

    I tried two-face…..not it!

  50. sue Says:

Does anyone know the 5 p.m. song today. It doesn’t show up on the playlist.

    Another clue, please Jeff. thanks.

  51. Tiberius Says:

No, Marvin, and I never want to be seen as someone you can see two sides of, as I try to play it straight up and all me, like it or not.
But a good gag goes a long way.
NAN, that isn’t quite it, is it?
    No riddler here.

  54. Tammy Says:

Sorry about earlier, I tried to get a clue through but I am new to the blog and didn’t realize that I would get lost in moderation. Let’s try this one…
Tommy Lee Jones knows really got into this guy.
Play with the name a little. The answer is more than just a Batman character, it’s a way of being.

  55. Tiberius Says:

Ron, the burton Cummings Band is to play at Chingcousy Park for the Canada day weekend celebration, on one night; check the events page on www.brampton.on.ca and see what you can, not enuff room here to fill you in, but aught to be a whole lotta rock!

  58. April Says:

    April

  61. Jennifer Says:

    Nan,

Thank you for that wonderful clue. Didn’t realize a hyphen was needed at first but got it on the second try.

    April,

I was going to ask you about the golf tournament that your husband’s daughter was arranging. You did leave details on one of your blogs on this website page bdurinhg Jeff’s Friday Photo Blog quiz but it was removed before I could get any details as to the whereabouts, date and time. I mentioned in my message on Friday that I don’t golf. However, I know people who do and might be interested in going if getting tickets is still possible. It’s really great that your husband’s daughter arranged for the car prize. I hope this golf tournament does really well. I’d want to go if I did golf.

    Jennifer

  62. Tammy Says:

I wonder if the clown’s name is Janus?

  63. sandra Says:

i had that along time ago but forgot the punctuation mark. Sucks.
Nan no time to cover flowers. Hit here so quickly youre lucky our street looks like someone went around with a leaf cutter. TWO big of a mess. My daughter walked home in it and got hit in the FACE with hail the size of a golf ball. Shes ok now,. hopefully my flowers will come back. 5pm song instant karma

  64. jac key Says:

  65. Lynda Says:

Thanks Nan - you rock! BTW, Sue, the 5 pm song was “Instant Karma”.

  66. Pearl Says:

    Cheers!!

  67. Terri Says:

Thank you Tammy, Nan and Jennifer (I needed that hyphen clue!)

  68. Ron Says:

Thx Tiberius, not surprisingly the Brampton website wouldn’t open, I’ll try it later. I think BC had the Carpet Frogs as a backup band recently. There have been some half-decent Canada Day shows there in the past, Rik Emmett for one.

Anyway, got the answer, thx for the clues, good ones out there, don’t need mine.

  69. Tiberius Says:

    Thanks Jennifer @ 8:44pm - That helped!

    Lee Ann L. :)

  72. douglas Says:

This one is easier than you all think. Read Jeff’s update and look at his face. What’s under there? There are people who are also referred to as this!! Hope this gets through to help anyone that might need it. Good night everyone.

  73. April Says:

    Dear Jennifer,

Did you get a chance to read my comments to you at 3:59, 6/14th? I asked Jeff to remove the GOLF details after everyone who wanted to read it did as I told you, I also had to change some of the details due to security reasons etc., so those who are interested, just have to e-mail their phone number to Jeff and I’ll get a hold of you as I need to get the $$$ for the tickets to her by July 1st!! So if you know some people who are interested, as there are also prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, etc,. just e-mail Jeff with the info and ask him to pass it along to me Jennifer, okay? Also, if you don’t golf, but would like to attend and enjoy the great meal, that’s also possible to pay just for the meal, so let me know, okay?
