Okay, so it’s pretty humble. Perhaps the families that lived here over the years spent their time in the backyard. If that were the case, the owner could say he often passed the time doing this. Doing what?

Lori (Monday 9:37), sorry I couldn’t help more on Monday’s abasketcase one, I did try a clue though, I capitalized the first letter of Basket, but - someone - in moderation switched my B to a b, so it got lost in the sentence! Sneaky, Jeff, sneaky. I tried a very subtle hint because my clue on the mothernature one got lost in the black hole of moderation and didn’t get released until after 11 pm. Jeff doesn’t like to release clues too early in the day.
Jack, I have to agree with everyone who said you rock yesterday - thanks a million! And thanks to whoever started the Amber code! Who was that anyway?

I’m stumped on this one.
Is it a name of a song or an expression?
So any one giving clues please let us know?
No clue here
May 14th, 2008 at 9:56 am
I don’t know if it was intentional or not but the house looks sort of pink so I checked the lyrics for Pink Houses from John Cougar Mellencamp. Later, since this is a real dream home, I checked Paradise City by GNR…..Much to my surprize, there was nothing there in either song.
It’s gonna be a long day.
May 14th, 2008 at 9:56 am
Thanks BarbH, I appreciate your help.
Todays puzzle is hard.
Gunky, Is it a expression or the name of a song?

Often the title has nothing to do with the answer.
Only certain clues get out of moderation.

Please delete post by Sue P. and replace by this one. Sue P is my wife’s login in and somehow got picked up by the computer. Thanks. I owe you one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
April;
Sorry I didn’t get back to you yesterday. I did read the particular post you were refering to. In fact it was not the first like it. This is exactly what I was writing about when I suggested that WE decide what we tune into in our lives. I, personally, am busy either earning a living or improving and POSITIVELY influencing the quality of my life and those around me. I waste absolutely NO time whatsoever with petty squables. Life is way too short for that. I do however call a spade a spade and when I see people I care about get lambasted, as you did that one time, I will speak my mind. After that, I move on. As far as I am concerned this issue has long been put to rest. With the right attitude fences seldome need mending….
Peace….♥

Looks like this house might be down on the corner. Question is .. which corner?
I like the way A Crostic thinks. He has some very good ideas. Have a look everyone.
May 14th, 2008 at 3:14 pm
Good luck April.
My 23 year old daughter smashed up my car last August. The car was written off in the accident. She was attempting a u turn on a main street. Anyhow she is fine. She got charged with careless driving with 6 dermit points. I had to hire a parallegal. My wife went to first attendence with the Prosequitur.
What a waste of time. He did not have the Evidence and said that it would have to go to trial because of the careless driving charge. Atleast the insurance company will forgive the first accident. We have to phone the parallegal about 15 days before the court case.

Hi April,
I had a cat scan and it WAS kidney stones. OUCHY!!! Thanks for your concern. April, you really are a very kind and caring person. It is hard to find genuine gems as yourself. I hope everything turns out for you with the insurance people. Whatever you do, don’t back down with those guys. That is what they prey on. You pay them forever, and then they act like they don’t know you.
As for today’s blog, I can’t believe I had the answer, right after I checked out some other songs by Humble Pie. BUT I put the answer in without the apostrope! I even thought about the apostrope, but didn’t think Jeff would do one like that in case it made it way too hard. Who’d a thunk it eh?
Anyway, I am off to watch the hockey game with my son right now, so I will talk to you later.
Your friend

May 15th, 2008 at 7:34 am
Yeah - I thought it was pretty funny when I saw your name on the blogs quite some time ago - I think I have only met one other Lee Ann (besides you) with the same spelling…. I’m from Mississauga… Sorry - I didn’t mean to confuse anyone… lol… have a great day!
May 15th, 2008 at 9:30 am
I don’t post very often…. (I think this one was the first one that ever passed the moderator)….
Maybe I will specify Lee Ann L. or 2 in future…. take care, LL

(Mississauga) Lee Ann, no problem, fantastic name darling! I see our parents were just as creative!
(Brampton) Lee Ann

So are you ladies now going to sign in as “Lee Ann in Brampton” and “Lee Ann in Mississauga” or use last initials or keep us confused? LOL!
May 15th, 2008 at 12:41 pm
no… the original Lee Ann posts a lot, so I’ll just make sure that I use Lee Ann L. (for the few posts that I do…)
Have a great long week-end!!!
Cheers!
Lee Ann “L”
