Well, that’s a record…never got one on the first try before!
I’m VERY disappointed with yesterday’s though, to waste hours

    the waters run still..
and the sun, and the moon fade away.’

  48. Ray Says:

    Gunky;
I hope your friends and family didn’t send you one of those ‘over the hill’ type of birthday cards. Anyway, hope it was a great time.

  55. Ray Says:

In lieu of ‘this’ I wouldn’t mind winning the lottery or a trip to Dublin. I probably just jinxed my chances. Merde!

  56. sandra Says:

Mara and robl can you believe that if we had googled henhouse lyrics yesterday it would have given us the answer right away. Cant believe i googled EVERYTHING else except that and i knew it had to be that. DUMB DUMB DUMB>

  57. Lee Ann Says:

RobL, I feel bad for you too…that was my lot from Friday’s clue…and the worst part of it was, I had been searching Kansas album titles, but ran out of time at the blasted library (I really do need to get a home computer, aside from the cootie factor, there are some ripe smelling dudes hanging out at the Four Corners branch let me tell you…) I didn’t have the chance to go on-line again until Sunday figuring I’d be golden, with it being the weekend and all but nopers. So I feel your pain brother, I do…glad you got today’s ok!

    Lee Ann

  58. Paulb Says:

    APRIL

  60. alanr Says:

Only 1:55 and have the answer. Now I don’t have to come home again at 1AM and start trying again. Along with Gunky I’m over the hill. Think I will go far away until tomorrow. Thanks Gunky. Hi April. P.S. Watch your spelling when answering.

  61. Rob L. Says:

    Sandra, April;
Not to worry. You win some, you loose some. Granted I was disappointed in being SO close, and yet not getting it. But to tell you the truth, it IS about more than the points. i did get the satisfaction of being on the right track.

and, with support like you all provide, what can I say,….. Baby, I’m a rich man. ☺

  62. Tiberius Says:

  65. April Says:

    HI Guys/Gals,

This is nuts!!!! I love Led Zeppelin but there are thousands of songs and even though I have hints, it’ll take me years to check out every song and their lyrics. Can anyone tell me if it is a song title, album title or lyrics from a song?

Probably not as Jeff wouldn’t let it go thorugh, but thought I’d try as I already spent way too long on it so far.

If anyone can help, I’d REALLY appreciate it.

    Thanks Buds!
    April

  66. Wendy Says:

You aren’t alone Sandra I feel your pain. I must have entered “Trouble In the henhouse” about 5 times. I did the same with every other word aswell. Anyways another day!

  67. Karen Says:

April - I see you now. LOL I guess your earlier comments were in moderation when I was looking for you because you hadn’t posted all morning.

Unfortunately every hint and clue I can think of is tied up in moderation. see Alanr at 2:00pm

  68. Rob L. Says:

    Lee Ann;
    A Sincere Thanks.

    You really ought to know
    I really ought to know!

    work it, work it….

  69. Louie Says:

Kind of an easy one today, but I still had to ask my buddy Google. He knows everything. Definitely not over the hill at all.

Special thanks to Gunky and Alanr at 8:42 am and 2:00 pm respectively.

  70. Polly Says:

Janis - at 8:29 - so close. Look at what you’ve said and dig a little deeper.

  71. Nick Says:

    Left a hint @ 9:23, still in moderation…Its far, far away…in a galaxy….nope, too far… (Flashback to 1978) You’ll find it often in green suits in Eire…

  72. Nick Says:

    Left a hint @ 9:23, still in moderation…Its far, far away…in a galaxy….nope, too far… (Flashback to 1978) You’ll find it often in green trousers in Eire…

  73. Rebecca Says:

LOL! Diana at 10:20am. Cool song for kids.

  74. Meagan Says:

You call THAT a clue, Jeff?

  75. April Says:

    Well,

I can’t believe it either as after all that looking, I had the right album all the time as it went with the title (sort of) but after checking all the lyrics from the songs and seeing KELLY, PAULB and mostly KAREN’S at 10:32 a.m., I finally got it!! Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Have to lie down now FOR SURE as this one took a toll on me, as I have a few letters to write later (hopefully I can get access to my e-mails then). GRRR… I hate computers!!!

    All my best,
    April

    no clue here….

  80. Karen Says:

April - I just read about your computer problems. Hope it get fixed soon. Moreso I hope it doesn’t break completely. Regarding e-mail, have you tried a secondary account like hotmail or something just to check if the problem is with your account provider and not your computer…after all your internet is still working.

  86. Lori Says:

Hi all. I have the Led Zepplin Cds which I am looking at.
But I am stuck on how gold can be related to any of the 4 cds.
Can someone throw me a new clue?
    I don’t get Gunky’s clue.
Is it the words in Gunky’s song?

  87. sandra Says:

fb i think you find fluff in your pockets or your belly button you choose

  88. Jennifer Says:

    Hi Diana,

Neat clue you gave at 10:20a.m. I got the answer around 11:30a.m. without a clue (the song just seemed to enter my head after reading Jeff’s quiz) but if I needed a clue, that one would have been ideal as that is one used to be one of my toddler’s favourite books (I know it’s also a song.)

  89. Jennifer Says:

    Hi Diana,

Neat clue you gave at 10:20a.m. I got the answer around 11:30a.m. without a clue (the song just seemed to enter my head after reading Jeff’s quiz) but if I needed a clue, that one would have been ideal as that is one used to be one of my toddler’s favourite books

  90. sandra Says:

thats alotta points paulb i have 300,000 my daughter tiffany has the same and my daughter amber has about 250,000 Hope they bring back the vault so i can try and use some up. I do this more for the fun than for the points What about you?

  91. Terri Says:

Ok first of all how come my posts are disappearing? I haven’t left any clues cause I didn’t know it till now and I didn’t swear, honest!

Second, did Denis from yesterday, explain what his numbers 2, 17, 18 and 29 meant? That really thru me.

Lastly what the heck kinda clue was “Watch out for that fluff”? Were there lyrics I missed?

    ~T

  92. Louie Says:

Sue fletcher, the number of letters in each word are: 1-9-2-4

And no, that’s not a year. Actually, you could also break down that second word into 6-3, since it’s actually a compound word.

For those of you who have forgotten what a compound word is, it’s a combination of two words put together. For example, Jeff’s blog answer the other day was Leftoverture, where the word “Leftover” is a combination of “left” and “over,” and “Leftoverture” is a compound word in itself, you could say.

  93. Cathy Says:

    sue fletcher…..

    letters: 1..9..2..4

  94. Louie Says:

PaulB, I’ve got you beat on the number of Jack Nation points, as I’m creeping up to 570,000, and I’m sure there are people on here with more, since I swear someone won one of the auctions with over 700,000 points, and a few other people had over 600,000.

Anyone else want to divulge how many points you’ve got? And has anyone ever won a lot of points with the slot machines? I could’ve had more points if I didn’t play them, or maybe I could’ve had more if I played them more often! It’s just too bad that these ain’t dollars we’re talking about, eh?

  95. Melissa Says:

I entered ‘pocket full of gold’ but it keeps saying it is invald. Am I doing something wrong? Is that not the answer?

  96. Ralph Says:

put your CD’s on and listen to them. You’ll have the answer by the end of the night.

  97. Sonjia Says:

    Hi, April. Know clues here.

  98. Jennifer Says:

I only have about 225,000 points. (No competition here! LOL) A sincere kudos to all of you with 300K+ points.

Louie, I know what you mean by the slot machine. I would have more too if I didn’t play the slots as well. Yes, an actual dollar figure would be nice!

  99. Lee Ann Says:

Wowzers Louie, you are da King. I have a little over 300k points. Not much, but I spent LOADS last year trying to win a Hyundai. Sadly, I had to travel hill-and-dale with the same old car. Oh well, I guess the money I saved in insurance on a new ride is better in my pocket than theirs, right April? By the way, how are you making out with your computer? I’m thinking Karen may be onto something if you’re able to blog here, but not access your e-mail.

Hey did you hear, Canada beat the U.S. at the Men’s World Hockey Championship. Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!! Let’s hope they win gold! I wish people in Toronto would show the love to Marlies - they’re in the playoffs too. But they are woefully forgotten…sad.

    Have a good night all!
    Lee Ann

  100. Lee Ann Says:

ps gang, don’t be fooled by the album covers/titles, you have to look further…dig?

    Lee Ann

  101. Diana Says:

    Anybody got kids?
    see my 10:20 post

  102. Dancing Disco Dan Says:

The Disco one has 688.880 points but many others have more than I by far. I’m saving for a BeeGees or K.C and the sunshine band reunioin this summer, my fingers are crossed.

    Dancing days are here again

    DDD

  103. Anna Says:

finally got this one….It was my spelling….as for points….I have 724,420 can’t seem to spend them in the vault, everytime I try for something it’s already sold out even though I’ve pressed the buy now button. good luck all.

  104. April Says:

    Louie and Jennifer,

The plus side about playing the slots is you can WIN!!! I won a few entries while playing and the next thing I know, I got an e-mail (different radio station though) saying I won a night out at Mohawk for 2. Here are the details: (copy and pasted) Your prize includes two (2) $15 CDN CASH vouchers for both you and a friend and two (2) $20 CDN dinner vouchers to the Market Place Eatery (approximate retail value of total package $70.00 CDN)! We had a great night, excellent food and with that money played mostly 1 and 2 cent slots and would win here and there but you always end up spending out of your pocket, so we left so we could get home in time for the hockey game!! KEEP TYRING, YOU MAY WIN!!

    April

  105. Lori Says:

There are led zepplin 2, 3 & 4 and Houses Of The Holy and the Zeppelin cd.

So where do I look. Need some Amber clues?

  106. Paulb Says:

    # of letters: 1 - 9 - 2 - 4

  107. Lori Says:

Ladies, please I need some help?

  108. Doug Says:

Glad to hear I’m not the only one over the hill 65 isn’t far away

  109. Karen Says:

Lee Ann - I know what you mean about the Hyundai. I spent everything I had trying to win that darn car. But I’ll be at 400k soon

Sandra - I hope that both your daughters don’t live at home with you because there is a rule about no more than two accounts per address that you’d have to look into.

  110. Claire Says:

Hi April, how’s it going girlfriend?

Happy to see you got it. I left some clues but, well you know.
Sorry to hear about your computer, we would miss you if you were gone for a day!

    LORI,
See my clue at 7:07, and Janice at 10:17, will help.

    The lyrics people, the lyrics.

That is one of my favourite songs.

    RALPH,
I did realize I left a clue that early, and I am shocked Jeffy let it through. He must have been tired or in a rush today to bother hiding it.

Anyway, will check back later if someone needs more clues.

  111. spyderman Says:

Thanks Gunky, started on this on late as I don’t have computer access at work. If it was your birthday last Fri hope you celebrated in style if not great clue.

  112. Heather Says:

    You really ought to know!

  113. Karen Says:

Nice to see you back DDD.

  114. Lori Says:

Ok, I know the song is Over the Hills etc.

I need clues for the phrase.

  115. Lori Says:

Ok I got it. Everyone thanks for your help and a bit Thank-you to Claire.

  116. April Says:

Dear Disco Dan, (AND A NOTE BELOW TO EVERYONE)

Nice to see you back, but if you read way back on some of the blogs that you missed, you’ll see why everything is being moderated (not really the reason). Remember when you and a lot of others wanted to open a Facebook for JACKFM users, it’s not allowed and LUCKILY, JEFF CHALMERS wrote us and copied and pasted where it said in the rules that sharing info etc… was NOT allowed or your account could be cancelled, so since you were so into it and set up one account (I believe), I thought you had been cancelled. Thank God I have a shitty 2nd hand laptop that doesn’t have enough memory and also I do not want everyone being able to access me, so I was never going to open an account as you have to open one yourself, before you can log on to others, so it was a no brainer and not interested for me, BUT I THINK YOU MAY HAVE BEEN IN TROUBLE AND POSSIBLY got out of it????? If not you’re lucky!

I know what you mean about how frustrating it is that we can’t even read clues as they end up in moderation now more than ever.

Oh well, we must still love it, as we are all still here, but I believe a lot of it has to do with the fact the PEOPLE ON THIS BLOG SIMPLY ARE THE GREATEST PEOPLE, FRIENDLY, CARING, AND LOYAL,(SEE ROBL FROM LAST FRIDAY FOR LOYAL) THAT’S WHY THIS BLOG, NO MATTER HOW BAD MY DAY IS GOING, I CAN COME BACK AND FIND COMFORT WITH MY FRIENDS AND FEEL BETTER JUST TO BLOG BACK AND FORTH WITH THEM.

A NOTE TO ALL OF YOU,

YOU ALL ROCK IN MY EYES AND THANKS FOR MAKING THIS BLOG A DAILY PLEASURE FOR ME TO COME AND VISIT, NO MATTER HOW BAD MY PAIN IS, YOU’RE ALWAYS HERE AND YOU ALL ROCK!!!

    YOUR FRIEND AND FELLOW BLOGGER,
    APRIL

  117. Christine Says:

I searched FAR and wide for these lyrics, buy I finally found gold.

  118. AlanC Says:

Have you even got mad, when you badly needs a coffee fix at TIM
and found you only have ‘a pocketful of nickel’
    I sure did this morning….till then….

  119. Rob L. Says:

    Lori, and others still trying.
My best clue is still being held. Likely Jef finds it too revealing.
Like Gunky he is likely over the hill. they get prudish when that happens.

    People, ask yourself this;
If you asked Jeff where that house was (in relation to him when he took the shot), what would he say (think perspective).
This will get you the song.

Claire started to point towards the album very early today, but then her post got fishy…..
