Dancer KARINA SMIRNOFF denies reports she has split with actor MARIO LOPEZ. Recent reports suggest Smirnoff is romantically linked to her latest dance partner, musician Mario, and has split with her live-in lover.

  9. Claire Says:

    Hi Sandra,

I was so sure I had it. You know that excited feeling when you go to the bonus code section, type in the word, then press enter, and VOILA!

Thanks for the memories. Thank God the uniforms have changed.

    TTFN,
    Louise

  13. Claire Says:

It can’t be the name of a band, I think we entered all of them.
Gotta be something in the lyrics. Maybe not even there, knowing Jeff. Linc? Split? Help us Jeffy!!!!!!

Gotta leave the house now, so I will be in mental torture all day with the Burger King song in my head, and no access to a computer til tonight. YIKES!

I’m gonna have to rely on all your hard work with clues. But I will return the favour the next time I get it early.

Have a good one everyone :)

  14. sandra Says:

yeah claire me to when i came up with supertramp ie breakfast in america but no go btw do you think debra was trying to give a clue with her dancing with the stars blurb what do you think

  15. Louie Says:

Is that beer in that glass on the left? I don’t drink beer that much, but that looks like a very light beer.

And how come you and your tablemate didn’t finish your food, Jeff? Did they not make the burgers as good as Burger King?

No clues here, and the answer ain’t “Whopper.” It ain’t “Jingle” either, as in what they call music in commercials. Guess I’ll just have to wait for a clue and some help from the rest of you guys, since I’m still recovering from yesterday’s (or should I say last night) blog.

  16. thedoctorizin Says:

    “Nice beaver..!”
“Thankyou!” “I just had it stuffed..”

  17. Heather Says:

OMG - now i am hungry for a burger…thanks Jeff!
(no clues here - nope, as usual I don’t have success yet)

  18. Lori Says:

I saw on jacknation home page that Join Jeff weekday mornings 5:30am - 9:00am.
UnCool that Jeff has to be in that early in the morning.
So he must get up at 4:30am in the morning.
I can see why the clues come in late in the day.
Jeff is probably gone back to sleep.

Jeff you must see a lot of raccoons and skunks in the morning.

    No clue here.

  19. Karen Says:

Not Alice (as in Alice’s Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie).

I don’t think I’ll have any more time to work on this today as it’s going to turn into Party Central here. (no hidden clues here)

    Have a good weekend, everyone!

  20. Jake Says:

I have a friend who used to work at Burger King and he told me not to eat here. Well I figured how bad can it be? Anyways, I ate an Angus Burger. After an hour I got dizzy and my stomache started hurting. I started throwing up. This happened in the States.

    No clue here just heartburn!

  21. alanr Says:

Today I’m really lost. I’m not even sure what the question is.

  22. Louise Says:

    Jeff,

Every day is a learning experience with your picture blogs. Did you know that a gentleman by the name of Peter Bochan put together a list of 525 songs about food. He’s even grouped them together (by category) ie: Fish, Chicken, Ice Cream. Want a laugh, have a look http://mixedup.com/foodsongs.htm

    Louise

  23. kath Says:

so Jeff’s clue says it’s one word… but I’m totally lost on this one… tried some googling with the hold the pickles & onions… lots of BK references … but nothing musical…
no clue here. off to work… by the time I get home, hopefully, someone will have found the answer and provided us with some help to solve this one!

  24. Louise Says:

Tried “dessert” but nada, as per the lyrics by Weird Al: “You won’t get no dessert ’till you clean off your plate, So eat it, don’t you tell me your full

    Think, think, think

  25. Dawn Says:

Jeff looks like a good lunch but I guess you didn’t have time to finish it all. Lunch hrs are just too short never enough time. I am off now to have a bite. See you all. This Blog is way too much fun.

  26. Pine Says:

Well, I would pack up the leftovers and take them home.

  27. Dawn Says:

tip forget the hold the pickels think Album title.

  28. Dawn Says:

    Not American Pie.

  31. Dawn Says:

I remember back in the 70’s we would have them a few times a week.

  32. Louie Says:

I don’t know much about album titles from the 1970s… I guess I was too young for that era, but here are some guesses I made that were wrong:

    bread
    hotcakes
live (since you won’t live long if you keep eating too many burgers)
    peach
music (Jeff always tells us to think “music”)
    harvest
    breakfast
grease (since burgers are usually greasy if they’re fried or full of fat, but of course, fat equals taste! LOL)

  33. Louise Says:

Well guys & gals, I have just spent three hours on this quest. I even when on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s web site looking for an answer. Must head off to my 2nd job (single Mom with a teen daughter). Every road “Google” led me down was a dead end. Will check back later.

Good luck everyone and have a great weekend.

  34. sandra Says:

jeff do you know how many album titles there are????Its like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

  35. Jeff P Says:

Got it beauty !!!!!!!! Go back in time to Dorthy, very windy for the Sunflower.

  36. Ray Says:

    Ray
    (sorry no clues here)

  49. April Says:

    Jeff Chalmersa,

Is there any way that you could give us another clue as I have searched for ages for anything with “eat it” and everything I find are more than one word? Are we suposed to check o ut every food item on the plate too as that will take an era to find? LOL

  87. April Says:

    Hey Steve,

    April

  88. Claire Says:

Holy cow, I am still lost!

Hey April, how are ya doing?

    Sandra, any ideas yet?

You know, I really thought this one would be easy for me, cause I love music from that era, (there I go showing my age again, lol).

Gotta keep trying, and will try to help as soon as I get anything.

P.S. I remember Friday nights used to be about partying and getting a little bit, well, how should I say it…DRUNK, LOL.

Now I am having a coffee, trying to figure out a photo blog, and having leftover pizza, pizza!

  93. Christine Says:

We should all get together and make Jeff solve some of our puzzles and make him beg us for clues. This one is impossible. Jeff is probably relaxing, watching the Blue Jays Game while we rack our brains.

  94. sandra Says:

  95. Karen Says:

    how many letters, please?

  96. Wendy Says:

Thanks Robert for your 4:54 clue.

  97. CathyB Says:

To guess this, you must surely pull a “miracle out of nowhere”. How else can you answer it?

  98. sandra Says:

No APril i have not gotten this one. This will be a first for me as i usually eventually get it with all the clues but im LOST

  99. Christine Says:

Thank you so Much Robert. Finally, “Carry On” with your search guys.

  100. sandra Says:

karen april christine you guys got this one yet/.

Guess some have reached the point of no return. Carry on people….

  102. Christine Says:

Yes, Sandra, I did get this one but Jeff is holding onto the clue I have for you. As Wendy suggested, Robert’s 4:54 clue is the way to go.

  103. April Says:

    Claire, Sandra,

OUCH!!, that’s all I can say. I’ve been working this one from so many angles and we don’t even know how many letters it is or which band it is, I can’t believe that I can’t even get a GOOD lead here. I thought that Robert’s 3:39 p.m. last sentence sounded like a line from a song, but when Iput the line in and ask if any songs have these lyrics, nothing comes up under search or google. Don’t they sound familiar to you Claire as I think we are the same age, and they sure ring a bell to me?

HELP ANYONE OUT THERE WHO’S KIND AND HAS THE ANSWER, LIKE YOU ROBERT AND DAWN!!!

    STEVE, my friend,

Looks like you have it, so please THROW ME A BONE???

    Later girls and guys,
A frustrated (I’m ALLOWED TO BE, RIGHT?) April

    Me

  104. Jeri-Ann Says:

Thanks Robert!!! I finally got it - Jeff, you are getting more sadistic by the day :D

This one was really hard, and needed much research.

  105. sandra Says:

christine i dont get his clue.

  106. Sonjia Says:

I have no clues yet and April, my husband is working tonight. Sometimes
he does not look at the blog.

  107. sandra Says:

I would NEVER have gotten that. I did not know what he was talking about. What kind of word is that? To think I had it almost the whole time.

  108. sandra Says:

robert you are one smart dude thankyou and christine thanks for making me look at it again. Have a great weekend my wayward son

  109. Karen Says:

    still don’t have it

  110. marko Says:

I scratched my head on this one to the point of no return, but I carried on. Jeff you are a wayward son of a … !

  111. David Evans Says:

Another long evening of head scratching. I actually gave up on google and started going through my database of our LP’s. Robert’s 4:54 clue should get Dorothy in the right state of mind. Thanks to all and have a great weekend.

  112. amber Says:

    not
    killerache
    ache
    neveragain
    supper
    acidrain
    survival
    no no no help

  113. sandra Says:

April i know its hard to understand but christine is right look at what robert said at 4:54 and think about it. my daughter told me what to do it involves jeffs past blogs.

  114. Claire Says:

    Hey April,

The song you might be thinking is , “say you, say me” Lionel Ritchie. Or, the other one is, “We gotta get out of this place” The Animals.

Man, I have tried EVERYTHING to do with this, and not getting any closer! Frustrated? Oh yeah, you are allowed, I think I can speak for Sandra too on feeling the same way. I know I am, lol.

Don’t even know how many letters. I keep thinking Commodores, (the brick wall), as Jeff said “not right”. The brick is on the left side. Also, Robert’s clue at 4:54, said to look at a blog (mid month in April), which is Brick House.

Does any of this make sense???

  115. Daniel Says:

A fictional American mid-western character left here with her dog, red shoes and all.

  116. sandra Says:

Hey claire he let my clue go thru yipee 9:29

  117. Karen Says:

I found it by looking at lists of album names on google until one jumped out at me. I did end up on here today ignoring the guests at my daughter’s party…my bad. 12 letters, revisit Yellow clue.

  118. Karen Says:

    Read Amber’s comment carefully.

  119. Karen Says:

not brick house, not Commodores, but you’re right it’s back there somewhere

  120. sandra Says:

yohoo karen Amber is my alias to trick jeff i only use it occasionaly

  121. Doug Says:

Jeff you are an evil man, I’m taking my ball and my dog toto and I’m going HOME!!!!

  122. April Says:

    Claire,

I think I got the band’s name form Amber’s clue, is that right Sandra? Have you gotten any more clues yet Claire as it seems to be down to you and me kiddo!! LOA (lots of aches, LOL)

    April

COME ON, WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!

  123. April Says:

Sandra, Amber and anyone who has it,

What Ddes Jeff’s 2nd clue have to do with it? Any helpful clues?

    Thanks,
    April

  124. April Says:

    Karen,
What do you mean by back there? In the blog answers of April?

    Please advise,
    Thanks,
    April

  125. April Says:

    Sandra,

You are not telling the truth about you and Amber being the same person, otherwise the days that Amber has the clues and you don’t, don’t make sense, so is ther a clue in there somewhere?

    Claire,

    What’s up girlfriend? Anything yet?

  126. sandra Says:

karen hope the party was good im having family (30 people) over tomorrwo for my daughters 17th bday. Looks like were both having out parties in the rain. Have a great nite.

  127. Adam Says:

I just got it… thanks Amber for the clue. April, check 1976.

  128. Rob L. Says:

Yes, Amber did give us the “author”, IF you look closely, or in the right direction.
Again. speeking of directions, if it isn’t right, try to other one. (1st syllable)

    anyway… Carry On.

  129. mara Says:

Thanks Amber. As Karen said, read it carefully.
Then google that band, and look for a 1970’s album title
with a 12-letter, non-English word that also makes sense with
the picture. And VOILA!!! (I’m practising my French, as I’m
going to Paris in less than three weeks!!!)

  130. Sonjia Says:

Any clues April. I do not have any right now.

  131. Rob L. Says:

let’s work on the second syllable…
The expression states that we won’t get “there” till the proverbial fat lady sings…

April, You and many others have been there for me, I’ll stick it out as long as I can for you….

  132. Rob L. Says:

    April;
Re the second clue, thing about the OTHER meaning of the word Jeff used.
    See my 10:15

  133. Danny Says:

Well this one was tough for me as I found the clues given utterly useless and misleading. If you haven’t gotten it, this might help: If you are a south paw, you throw with a certain hand, and Mozart, Beethoven were famous for composing these.

  134. Bernice Says:

    First letters of Ambers’

  135. April Says:

    ROBERT,
THIS IS ONE WORD, RIGHT? NOT 4 WORDS MADE INTO ONE? I KNOW WHO THE GROUP IS, BUT A WORD THAT HAS 12 LETTERS AND 4 SYLLABLES?

DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE AS TO THE TITLE BESIDES YOUR “LEFT” (I HOPE THAT’S PART OF A 14 LETTER WORD?)

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP ROBERT, MUCH APPRECIATED,
    APRIL

  136. April Says:

    Robert,
Thank you, thank you and my back thanks you MORE!!! Finally got it!! About friggin time!! Was on the right track, but didn’t think there was a word with like that, but there is.
    Claire,
Have you got it, because you can get the band by looking at Amber’s clue. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU GET IT OR NOT, okay, because I want to help my buddy!!
    April
    Have a great weekend everyone.

  137. Rob L. Says:

yes, one “word”, but it is more of a title, not a real word. This band doen’t have lots of albums, so a “list” would be short….
you have the first part of the word, now work it over, and you’ll get the rest…

  138. Rob L. Says:

Think of the “word” as having three parts.
April, you have the first part,
the second part I have hinted at in my 10:24 post, look it over.
The third part is more of a modification that turns a normal word (parts 1 and 2) into a funky album title….

  139. Adam Says:

Well my previous post is still in MODERATION even though it’s already 11pm. April, use today’s morning show bonus code to come up with bands album release year.

  140. Lynda Says:

Good one Amber! Think about the “Before and After” category on Wheel of Fortune. Also think about sunflowers from a previous puzzle.

  141. Claire Says:

    HOLY MACKERAL!!!

    11:05 OUR TIME!

This is the longest it has ever taken me to finally get it.

  142. Rob L. Says:

Well April, looks like Claire and Sonjia cashed out, perhaps you and I were the only ones left over. Looks like I’ll call it a night too, …

  143. Rob L. Says:

    Claire;
You WERE still there. The delays spent in moderation does mess things up. Anyway, glad to see you also solved it. Goodnight all…

  144. Claire Says:

    Hi April,

First of all I have to thank every single one of you who have left clues. Amber, yours did it for me. Thank you, thank, thank you:)

    April, your turn now.

Look at Ambers clue of 9:29.

You’ve got the band, right? (Reminds me of the “Dorothy” blog.

Now, just google the bands albums.

There is one from 1976, and as Mara would say, “Voila”!!!!

There it is. You will know it as soon as you see the album name.

Okay, this blog addict really needs a weekend of brain-rest, as I am sure we all do.

    TGIF

Have a great weekend April, Sandra, Amber…and all you great bloggers.

Have a good one Mr. Chalmers!!!!!

P.S. Can’t wait til Monday morning now, LOL!!!!

  145. kath Says:

thank you AMBER!!! you’re clue helped me. I can’t believe how close I was with tgis earlier…
ok. Jeffy has it as one word… but you could make it two words.
2nd word … is frequently an opening to a large dramatic piece of work.
and yes, that’s music people… just not the kind you’d normally think of with jack fm.

  146. April Says:

    Robert,

I thanked you at 10:42 (when I got it) before you posted all your other clues, with your help of course and thanked you and will thank you AGAIN for everything, you are the bomb, to wait this long to help me and Claire and whoever else didn’t have it was a VERY NICE GESTURE on your behalf and I’m sure that I’m not the only one that appreciated it, so thanks again my friend and have yourself a great weekend, you deserve it!!

I owe you one, anytime, I PROMISE AND DON’T EVER BREAK MY WORD,

    Cheers,
    April

  147. April Says:

    Sweet Claire,

I guess you didn’t get to read my coments to Robert at 10:26 when I finally got the clue and then I left comments for you to help you get the clue, I hope I helped a bit and just think, we can now go relax for the rest of the night. You’re right, that one took me the longest too!!!

Have a great weekend my fellow blogging friend,
    April

  148. Sonjia Says:

Thanks for the clues everyone, including April.

  149. April Says:

    RobL,

The comment made to Robert was referring to you, not Robert from 4:54 p.m., so please excuse the error. I just read what you wrote at 10:24 p.m. and it was very, very kind of you and you did stick it out with us even though I got it at 10:42 p.m. (because of everyone’s being in moderation, the clues came out after some people got it), so again, like I said to you when I addresed it to ROBERT (which was really you) at 11:44 p.m., “YOU ROCK” and I can’t thank you enough and owe you one BIG TIME!!!

And Rob, Don’t forget about our dear HABS!! They have to kick butt if they’re going to win the next 3 games. Seems impossible, but not unattainable, depends on who they put in nets and how they play on their power play too!!

    CHEERS,
    April

  150. April Says:

    Sonjia,

Did you end up getting the clue? I hope our clues helped, I tried ( along with all the other members?

    Let me know,
    April

  151. Claire Says:

Thank you Rob L. for your time in helping us girls out. That was very nice of you to care enough to stay awake and look out for us. We really are a great team, us Jacksters!!!

Maybe we should get some skates on and go for the cup next season, lol.

April, where are you girl? I hope you got it from the last few clues. If you did, then you must be asleep now. That is just where I am headed too.

    Night all…you too Jeffy :)

  152. April Says:

    Adam.

Thanks for your help even though due to moderation, I had the clue at 10:42 P.M. BUT MUCH APPRECIATED YOUR HELP, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO AND COULD HAVE LOGGED OUT AND GONE TO DO SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT!!

Enjoy your weekend and I hope I can return the favour one day, so if I can, let me know and I’ll do my best, DEAL?

    Thanks,
    April

  153. sue fletcher Says:

Jeff, I think you should give us more time to try and figure this out, as it is so late when things came out of moderation. It is 12:31 a.m. and I have to quit now.

  154. Diana Says:

Thanks Sandra/Amber…..its now 12:36 am and I’ve finally got it! I never would have got it on my own. This was a tough one.

Have a good weekend all, if any of you are still awake. Totally consuming this blog is….oh well….until Monday.

    Cheers!

  155. Louise Says:

    April,

With reference to your message at 2:22. Sorry I wasn’t leaving any clues. I was just doing my “Google Queen” thing.

  156. Louie Says:

    April,

I’m sorry I couldn’t stay and help figure out the answer. Friday night is bowling league night for me, and it’s a way for me to try and win some money. Unfortunately, I only bowled good, but in my league, you have to bowl great to win some money, so maybe next week.

As for the blog, I finally figured it a few minutes ago, and there is no way I would’ve known the answer had Jeff not released all the Kansas messages from the moderation jail cell. Once I figured out the band was Kansas, I Googled them, went to their Wikipedia entry, checked out all their album names, chose the one that fit, and it was indeed the right answer.

But this Jeff guy is tricky. Yes, the answer was one word, but it was actually a combination of two words. I wonder what he’ll have in store for us on Monday. Hopefully it’s a video blog… those are easier and some people are still hungover on Monday mornings. LOL

  157. randy Says:

i would like to thank jeff for keeping this blog refreshing, thou suffering while doing this is made a whole lot easier with all the “helpers” out there
your comments always make me smile, laugh and nod in agreement

for this “test” thanks to marco @ 9:11, david evans @ 9:17 and amber @9:29 for your clues, they really “helped”

to all not stop with your clues they all help

have a good weekend and will “meet” you again on monday a.m.

  158. Karen Says:

Sandra - The party went well. Now I’m gearing up for another birthday party tomorrow. Same kid though. I just find it easier to have 2 smaller parties than one large one. My dd turned 6. :)

April - sorry I didn’t get back to answering your question about my clue but I’m sure glad that you managed to get it anyway. I had to go to bed because my kids have never heard of sleeping in on weekends. ;)

  159. Karen Says:

Sandra - I’m aware that you post under Amber when you are trying to get something by Jeff but it sure wouldn’t work for me to point people towards “Sandra’s post” when it’s listed under “Amber”. That would mess with peoples minds in a way that only Jeff truly comprehends. ;)

  160. Tiberius Says:

Sorry all, was busy watching IRONMAN last nite, so was of no help.
Please go see this flick and you will love it, and stay until after the credits are over for a nice little touch/hint, like we are used to here in the twisted realm of the Jeff Chalmer’s Photo Blog.
Really is addictive, I agree, as I kind of miss it today.
    Monday all!
    PLAY!

  161. Karen Says:

    DISCO DANCING DAN….

    Where r u????

Disco needs to make a comeback.

  162. April Says:

    Hi Louie,

I’m glad you had a good time bowling, we missed you though!!! I got the answer the same way you did, as soon as I got Amber’s clue I got the band “Kansas” and then I did the same thing you did and saw the answer!! Great minds think alike!! See you tomorrow!

    Karen,

I completely understand, so no worries. I was just concerned about you on Thursday, you seemed so upset and I wrote to you to ask you if there was anything I could do to help as you seemed so defeated that day and that’s not like you!! I’m glad that everything okay now (I hope, LOL.)
See you back here again tomorrow.

    Sandra,

Are you really playing by 2 names? Amber is you other one? I’m glad your party went well.

    Louise,

That’s okay, at least I know now why!! See you back here Monday for more torture!!

    ‘Til tiomorrow,
    April

  163. Lee Ann Says:

Hey Louie, thanks for the tips, I had to give up on Friday, places to go, things to do…I just tried 2 album titles from Kansas, one of which was “leftoverture” and got “the bonus code is no longer available”.

Guess I left it too long to check back here, bummer!

    Blog y’all tomorrow!

    Lee Ann

  164. April Says:

    PaulB and Lee Ann,

    Boo Hoo,
MY HABS LOST!! It was so close until the last minute or so. Now, I’ll be going through HABS withdrawal for a while. Sorry Paul, you must be as down as I am right now!! Well, there’s always next year, right Lee Ann??

    April

  165. Karen Says:

April - I got your message and Heather’s too. I appdreciate it. I did write back but it didn’t get posted. Sometimes it’s strange what can and can’t be said on here {WTF, Jeff???????} but anyways it’s all OK now (I think). I posted my e-mail address when Spydey was collecting some for facebook. Since I think Jeff doesn’t want me to discuss it hear, you are welcome to e-mail me and I’ll tell you what happened.

  166. Lee Ann Says:

Yes Avril, it is the mantre of we Leafs fans as well…there’s always next year…and the year after…and so on and so on!

It’s too bad, it would have been nice to see the Cup come home, to an Original Six team especially.

    Have a good one!
    Lee Ann
