Tuesday, March 4th, 2008Needed a U-Haul at he Gemini Awards last night. Thankfully. What a wonderful movie. Gordon Pinsent deserved this level of recognition at the Oscars too. He is a national treasure when it comes to the arts and this portrait of a man losing his wife to disease is his best work yet. No car chases, no explosions, nothing artificial about it. If you haven’t seen it, go, and pray you’re not living it some day.
