The Boss Is Hard At Work

No, I’m not talking about Jeff Brown. I’m talking about Bruce Springsteen. Not only is Bruce back on the road for more shows in support of his latest album “Magic”, but as he told USA Today this week, he’s also hard at work in the studio on two separate projects.
The first finds him once again working with the E Street Band and “Magic” producer Brendan O’Brien on a new group album. But Bruce is also ”recording on my own, for an acoustic record. I work on a lot of projects at once.”
I don’t know how you feel, but I can’t stand solo Bruce albums (with the exception of “Nebraska”). Neither “The Ghost of Tom Joad” or “Devils and Dust” did much for me. In fact, they both bored me to tears. I’m way more eager to hear another big rock record with his longtime bandmates.
