Eddie & Wolf On The Cover of a Magazine
The latest issue of Guitar Hero featuring the magazines first father and son cover hits shops February 12th. I think this is very cool pic of Ed and Wolfgang Van Halen. I know fans were royally peeved when Van Halen went on the road without Michael Anthony last year. I mean, for 20 years people had been waiting for that classic VH reunion with the original members. Instead, we get a 16 year old kid on the bass! The thing is, Wolf did an excellent job onstage holding down the bottom end, not too mention contributing some decent backing vocals to the proceedings.
Take a look at some of the footage from one of the T.O. shows, and let me know your thoughts on the Van Halen reunion? Did you really miss Mike that much? How do you think Wolf did?
Here’s todays bonus code, good until midnight tonight: WOLFGANG

Wolfie does fine but this performance overall is a little boring to me. Is this soundcheck? Where is the energy? Talk about going through the motions. Glad I saved my cash and skipped this one. BTW…where’s Gary Cherone?

Got guitar hero on the brain? Looks like the magazine is Guitar World. I’m playing Rock Band & since I started playing after Christmas, every song I hear on JACK I think about how great it would be on Guitar Hero / Rock Band.
If there was a Guitar Hero magazine, I’d probably check it out.
Cheers.

I saw the show this past summer and it was everything and more that a TRUE VH fan would expect. Wolf did fine. Let’s face it, we aren’t there to see Wolf - it is all about Eddie and Dave! Two showman in the own rights and on top of their game still. Paid too much for the tics but would n’t have missed for the world. Let’s just hope that this is only the begining of the 4th era of VH - hope they release a DVD of the tour too.

I think the kidd did fine, saw the show in T.O .But lets face it how hard would it have been for Michael to be part of it ,heck Eddie and Alex found a way to get along with Dime Bag Dave and everything seems fine. But ” The Cradle Will Rock”

I think Wolf did fine. I went to the concert and David looked really good in those pants and his different top hats and Eddie was sweet as always, looking good too. Did it not make it even more Van Halen-ish with Wolf performing because after all he is a Van Halen too!! Right?
I figure for someone his age to be able to perform on stage in a band with that much celebrity he did amazing!!
