The Rock and Roll Machine Gears Up

My name is Andrew Burns. You might have known me as Andrew from Club Q, but no more! That was then, this is now. I’m working at JACK, writing and producing for the Jeff Brown and Carly Klassen Show, and keeping you updated on everything that’s going on in the world of rock. I’ll update the rock blog daily, give you some bonus points for your JACK Nation account, and keep you up to date on what’s happening music wise.
To kick off my first Rock Blog, what better news than a rock reunion that many thought would never happen. The news came out over the last 24 hours that Rik Emmett, Mike Levine, and Gil Moore will reunite as Triumph for the 2008 Sweden Rock Festival to be held this June in, where else, Sweden.
The guys were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame last year, where they all genuinely seemed happy to be together again. Could a one-off reunion simply be the beginning of a full-blown Triumph tour? Money talks, and if I was a betting man I’d say there’s a solid chance we’ll see Triumph in Canada sometime in 2008.
