Shatner’s Rocket Man

William Shatner recently revealed that after his divorce from Gloria Rand, he was so broke that he had to live in his truck. Maybe that’s why he appeared at the 1978 Science Fiction Awards performing Elton John’s “Rocket Man” in what has become Shatner’s trademark style - the lyrics spoken to music. That’s a long song.
