Celebrity Encounters

A few weeks ago, I attended the ZZ Top concert in Vegas. It was an awesome show! Got Me Under Pressure, Legs, Pearl Necklace - all those guitar-driven tunes that are a pleasure to hear, especially on a hot day with a cold beverage in your hand (or on a cold day with a hot toddy in your hand?). I had the privilege of meeting Billy F Gibbons when I worked at Q. He’s so cool and laid back and he has so many interests, from hot sauce to vintage cars.
When I posted an entry in my blog about the Vegas show, a listener named Rob C. kindly sent me photos of his encounter with the band at The Hot Stove Lounge in Maple Leaf Gardens back in December 1986 (Rob’s the guy in the denim shirt). Rob said, “It is definitely the coolest meeting of my lifetime. I will never forget it.” And that got me thinking, what celebrity encounters have you had? Were they memorable?
