Hi Carly,
Here's my bus story...
I visited some high school friends in Regina back when I was 16 and flew out to see them for a few weeks.
When September rolled around and it was time for me to go back to school there was an Air Canada strike.
Back then there were no other airlines flying to Saskatchewan and all the trains were booked as were all the flights from Calgary so i took the bus home(had to borrow money from my friend to buy a ticket).
I knew the trip was going to be a bad one when some guy tries to assualt me in the Regina men's room before our bus even leaves.
I managed to stay alive for over 2 days as the bus stopped at every small town in Manitoba and northern Ontario and went to seek adventures in the local watering holes with 2 other guys i met on the bus.
I finally reached Toronto exhausted and had my dad pick me up at the bus depot but ran into 2 beautiful girls who invited me to a party while waiting for my dad to pick me up.
Although it was an adventure i have never been on a bus trip since even though i hate airports.
Glad that you are back on the air in Toronto Carly!

Carly, there is one thing I've found in riding a bus. Sit in the middle of the bus, sit in the aisle seat and put as many of your belongings as you can in the seat to the right of you. It might not work all the time, but it works most of the time. If you want to relax and enjoy the trip your belongings will have the window seat and you can change spots. It sucks when there is a full bus because you have to move for someone. Such is life! Hopefully the coughing snorter won't end up beside you!

This is why I became a pilot Carly.

Unfortunately, I work in radio too, and therefore can not afford to fly myself anywhere, anyway.
